Might as well pick up where I left off on Purple's history. We had just gotten to the end of Bronycon under the Purple Tyrant's reign, and he was posting crotch shots to 4chan to 'prove' something.

• 4chan was having a grand old time trolling the fuck out of Purple Lolcow, and Purple Tinker (despite claiming to be an IT expert and old fandom member) took every bit of bait that was thrown his way. The concept of "don't feed the trolls" is/was lost on him, as evidenced by his arrival in this thread. According to PT, there was a grand conspiracy among the BC staffers to 'usurp the throne' and steal power from PT, which was why he was kicked out for absolutely no reason at all. (And not because he screamed at people and abused his staffers.) Hence, the conspirators were all on 4chan, and it was PT's duty to ... show them his crotch.
  
• Around this time, two dudes who were former friends/suckups to PT split off from Bronycon to make their own convention, Canterlot Gardens, and PT made it his sole duty to submarine them. Ironic from someone who couldn't even run their own convention, PT somehow claimed he knew what made 'a good convention', and the CG guys didn't have it. Purple Tranny spent all of his time on Twitter badmouthing the con runners, bringing up criminal pasts and personal affronts as equal measure of 'badness'. They were criminals, but more importantly, they didn't treat PT right.
  
• One of the organizers, Nanashi Tanaka, had lived with PT for awhile as a roommate. Only after he 'abandoned' her to help start CG, Tranny went on Twitter to proclaim that he "stole" (PT's words, which you should not trust implicitly) several hundred dollars from PT. Why? Because PT liked to delegate, and he would often send Nanashi out to get money, food or supplies for him, so Nanashi had regular access to the card and PIN. But instead of filing criminal charges when he found out, PT instead decided that Nanashi could 'pay him back' the money he took - as a slave. I meant 'unpaid helper who lives with his owner.' For pennies per hour, Nanashi ran errands and became PT's unpaid live-in assistant at BC, until he finally left and joined CG's ranks. This drove PT insane, so the next year or so of PT's twitter was all Nanashi, all the time. But because he was an idiot who never filed any official complaint, he never saw any of the remaining money he was owed.
  
• You'll see this is a pattern of his; PT hates a lot of people, but the people he hates most vociferously are former friends of his, who he sees as "betrayers" to be punished.
  
• As part of their passive-aggressive war, Canterlot Gardens sent a bouquet of flowers to Purple Tinker. I bring this up because despite claiming he 'doesn't care' about doxxing, PT lost his everloving mind when he received that bouquet, going so far as to post pictures of it, the fake-friendly card that arrived with it, and a photo of the flowers in the trash. Flowergate was all he talked about for weeks after, and he'll still bring it up occasionally. If you really want to get PT's goat, do something nice for him, like flowers.
  
• PT spent the next 2-3 years being obsessed with everything and everyone he hated. Friends dropped like flies, so he became obsessed with hating them, too. PT painted himself as a martyr who Bronycon had cruelly thrown away, but everyone else could clearly see that the problem was PT himself. When he couldn't get the ass-pats he wanted, he threw a fit. For years. The fit is still continuing, as you see in this thread.
  
• During this "I'm not medicated so nothing I do is my fault" period, the Bravo TV channel aired a segment about the Bronycon/Bronies documentary, mocking it on a program called The People's Couch. It looks like it's been nuked from YT, but the gist of it was showing a clip of Purple Tinker talking about the convention, and one of the on-screen personalities asked, "Is that a man or a woman?" and another replied with "Yes. That is a man or a woman!" The joke being that Purple Tinker presents like a woman with a 5 o'clock shadow and a jawline that could slice boulders.
  
• Purple Tinker lost his goddamn mind. He called for a boycott of Bravo and demanded that the show be canceled, he tweeted at Bravo repeatedly and went so far as to contact their PR office, screaming at any poor secretary who dared to speak to him. He also proudly posted logs of himself screaming at the minimum-wage workers, unaware of how unhinged it made him look in his sperg-rage.
  
• When cooler heads reminded him that as part of being filmed for the documentary he'd signed a public release for exactly this kind of situation, he screamed at them too. He went so far as to demand that the Bronies-NYC Meetup group (which he had founded, and had been the starting base for Bronycon) allow him to post a "meetup" for a protest outside of Bravo's HQ in New York... and the Meetup group declined. They stated that the Meetup group wasn't for 'political' purposes, and Purple Tinker proceeded to call them ret*rds. Repeatedly. I also heard that he called them on their phones and screamed at them, since at the time they were all friends.
  
• Those friendships understandably came to a sudden end (sperg-rage can do that), and the Meetup group turned PT's temporary ban into a permanent one, based on the incredibly violent reaction to being told 'no.' To this day, PT tweets about how the Bronies-NYC runner Kar "ruined her life" and "destroyed all of her friendships in the city" and "prevented her from contacting her friends" and continues to do so years later.
  
• As a result of "losing all her friends" (being removed from a Meetup group, in normal people speech), Purple Tinker literally moved cross-country. In what may be the biggest reaction to a banning ever, Purple Tinker promptly packed up all of her hoard and flounced to San Francisco, where she now resides with her severely disabled (and therefore unable to leave her) fiance, Smurgen.

That's the timeline as I remember it, but my memory isn't perfect. He also hooked up with Pinkiepony around the time period before leaving New York but after being kicked out by Bronycon, and he used his "victimhood" in that situation as a way to solidify that friendship - "we're both victims of evil bullies who hate us for no reason", and the like. Purple Tinker went so far as to tell her not to worry about doxxing, that 'doxxing doesn't really do any harm', so really he should have no problem with this thread, since doxxing isn't bad right?

So, I did some googling and essentially, what the show staffer is posting about is a pony-themed 'quote of the day' style fan thing based on Taoism and a character named Maud Pie, sister to hyperactive sentient pile of sugar Pinkie Pie by being the complete opposite (as in, everything she says is in deadpan and she basically has no emotions discernible at face value).

What in hell Tinker's problem actually is here, though, is beyond me, because the image linked is just a profile shot of Maud pony with some Taoist quote on it.

TaoOfMaud is a Twitter account that tweets very benign and boring Taoist beliefs as some kind of expanded Brony role-play. The VA for Maud likes the account and regularly retweets them. At one point, TOM said something vaguely transphobic, Purple Tinker went through the roof and lambasted them, lambasted the VA because she associated with the TOM account instead of going on a performative temper-tantrum like Tranny did. In PT's mind, VA is evil/transphobic by association, and PT hates her. She harassed her online for several months as I recall, and finally tried to "make nice" after being blocked by VA and multiple other show staff. But that bridge was burned.

Sidebar, but most of the "big names" in the fandom can't stand PT, including the people she regularly interacts with. If you'll notice, she takes a lot of fake-friendly selfies at cons with famous people ... but that's the extent of it. Everyone I've spoken to is of the mind that PT is functionally insane, but it's easier to pretend to be her friend than it is to deal with her "I'm going to ruin your life" Twitter campaigns. So even though it appears like PT has a lot of friends judging by her Twitter interactions, it's really not the case. It's sort of like nodding and smiling to the crazy hobo on the streetcorner while you wait for the light to change. I followed viking while this was happening and i felt bad for her during that shitstorm, she didn't deserve it. She's very nice. I think the reason why Pinkiepony did that to her because the wife was calling PP out on her shit and i mean everything. I think PP claimed to be hacked, lied about suicide, rape and a bunch of other shit that she lied about. I remember Pinkie at one point tried begging for money and people found out she spent it on pony toys or some crap. Pinkie was NOTORIOUS for lying and making up shit on the spot for sympathy, which worked for her. People like Dragondicks supported her and still do to this day. I think Pinkie's pinkiepony tumblr got banned because she used a tumblr theme that looks like the page when you see someone's deactivated tumblr. You could tell from the page's code it was a theme and you were able to see the follow buttons. People found out it was against the rules and she got banned for it. She hasn't been active on tumblr since 2013. April has a ED article if you wanna read up about her. There's also a tumblr blog dedicated to her lies when it was active at the time if you wanna read up the drama when it happened if you're not familiar with her.
