It wasn't just H3 in my opinion, the general tendency amongst normiesphere YouTubers at the time was to stick up for him as I remember it. I vaguely recall people like penguinz0 and the like saying it was le childish or parasocial to mock him for dating a prostitute. Anisa's onlyfans was a death sentence for his old persona, but he had enough YouTube cred to pivot to something else if he stuck to it. I think banning Froggy Fresh was the point of no return for him.
