Correct. And what did the American and continental European investment got them? Yes a regional power in the middle East that is by now more foe than friend. Wrong. National socialism and fascism are clear cut left wing ideologies. They are teleological, end goal driven, the means justify the end goal. Materialistic, its about the material "well-being" of an ad hoc group. Universalistic, they believe that their ideology as in ontology, empistemology and method is applicable to every human independent of individual variables and the ideology is over time true, the only truth. Collectivistic, the disregard for individual interests and other individual variables for the "well-being" of an adhoc defined group.

There is absolutely not a single aspect of nat SOCIALISM and fascism that is even slightly right wing in the classical sense.


Edit: the only ideology where the borders between left and right are blured is classic liberalism, that assumes that by maximizing individual liberty its more likely that an ad hoc collectiv comes closer to pragmatic solutions that benefit the adhoc group of individuals

Correct, the post 1945 political philosophical canon is completely dominated by marxists, that had a very rational interest to paint nat socialism as right wing to conceptually pretty much eliminate the true right wing from the general consciousness - so the entire academic political philosophical canon post 1945 can be thrown into the dust bin of history as poisoned biased worthless data.
 
I do love the Youtube grifters on both the pro Russian and pro Ukrainian side, claiming both sides are winning. For my analysis, Russia is actually winning right now, but they're still behind schedule for a country that's larger than their neighbor getting bogged down for a worry. About three and A half years in a regional conflict. It also did them no favors that they also lost their strategically important base in Syria. Which gave them access to the Mediterranean.

My thoughts on Russia is that while it isn't the juggernaut people think it is, going to think it's a paper tiger pushover is complete hubris. If the paper tiger label was true, then why would European nations be shitting themselves and trying to rapidly rebuild their military industries? A paper tiger shouldn't be causing Euro nations actually considering bringing back conscription, a move deeply unpopular with the average Euro.
