I think it's cause they openly call everyone, even moderate Democrats, evil literal Nazis - but than do stuff like quote the Priory of Sion or do Holocaust death count math (for example Lindsay Ellis being all "I need to see more evidence 6 gorillion maybe died"). If Lindsay genuinely thinks Holocaust researcher Eric Hunt was onto something (note: he thought the SS was innocent/no one died in the Holocaust), than she looks fucking ridiculous calling anyone an "evil Nazi". My personal sperging (previously posted on the Mr. Beast thread a year or two ago) on the ridiculousness of "artists" flipping their shit on social media about Youtube creators using AI art:

I hate artists freaking out on social media over major creators using AI art in videos, since nearly all of the creators using AI art are using it in place of basic stock photos. It wasn't like they're firing an on staff artist, or stopped commissioning expensive images used in videos from real artists. 99% of the time, these are creators who never commissioned art in their videos; they just bought the rights to a 99 cent stock image. Think of the last time you've seen a popular Youtube video featuring a stereotypical Tumblrista's $80 commission anime artwork. Never? Exactly.

Note (& I say this as an artist): for the majority of artistic people, art isn't a career - it's an expensive difficult personal hobby like building model airplanes or playing Magic the Gathering/Yugioh. Creating art is an emotionally rewarding hobby, & can sometimes lead to earning a profit - but a full time career? Extremely, extremely rare. Not to mention, a significant portion of the art world is rich people engaging in complex money laundering schemes. TLDR, artists with art degrees whining on Tumblr about AI images should go to their local employment centers and sign up for classes to learn employable skills, like Microsoft Excel or bookkeeping. Alas, drawing sexy Once-ler fanart will never pay for their art school student loans.

TLDR, these fuckers need to learn Microsoft Excel or Quickbooks - which are much more valuable skills than being able to draw anime fox waifus.

But if an artist wants to be one professionally, then they need to treat it like a business. That means you need to negotiate prices, meet deadlines, work with people, etc. Too many would rather have full egos than full bellies.
