Nah, I think he is a legit fanboy, he still supports DSP, as you can tell by looking at his twitter. Hell, I'm pretty sure he still donates 100 or so dollars like he used to.
He just fails at trolling those who dislike his goutastic crush, which is probably the reason why he isn't as active as he used to be: people pretty much called him out the moment he didn't debate Metokur like he said he would. Everyone just saw him as a dumb troll and a cowardly one at that.

That being said, DSP has 3 contenders for next relationship: BSV, KG and Sammy. Gotta pick one, Goutboy (although let's be real, he'd go for all 3 just because he needs the money dood, nothing he could have possibly done!)

Now more than ever, there is no reason for Phil to be staying in that huge house. Apparently the property value has gone up to the extent that he could sell it and still have enough left over to put into paying down remaining debt. And then he still has the Connecticut condo to move into.
With all that in mind, those who blindly pay this guy each month on Patreon should be made aware that in essence he does not need their money. One by one, they should begin withdrawing donations. When push comes to shove and he starts facing real financial hardship, it will motivate him to do the right thing and sell that house.
After the Project 7 debacle, the Persona 3 ragequit, throwing Scarface under his couch, not coming up with any new or original goals, Phil needs a good kick in the ass from his Patrons.

...yeah, not gonna happen. Phil is already dumb enough to the point I'm fairly sure he won't sell the house...even though it's the logical thing to do.
His fans are universally agreed to be dumber than he is: they won't stop donating, oh no. Especially when you got the holy trinity of goutism, BSV, KG and Sammy donating to their leader.

I feel like they are the worst trolls like they like to see DSP keep failing but hold him up just enough to where he needs their money. Like dance monkey dance for our pennies. Am I wrong?

You know what may have happened. When a counselor comes in for a panic attack usually they have alone time with the patient. Perhaps during this time the counselor talked with Leanna about how Phil is causing her stress.

Also, phil might have eaten her sandwhich while she napped and she woke up wondering where it was.

Yup, and also part of triage includes a section that is meant to determine whether the person is suffering from spousal abuse, and not just physical either. The questions could have caught her off guard.

Wild speculation though.
