Maybe I just have a soft spot for the "good ol' days" but I don't remember Slowbeef being a bad moderator at all. And I find it funny that the people there think that members of kiwifarms are all alt-right Trump supporters who only hate on members because they supported Hillary.

Honestly, shitting on Lowtax has been a long-standing tradition on SA. The fact that it surprises people that it's allowed shows how far SA has fallen since its glory days.

It's more that lowtax is a pretty cool guy, he won't own up to his mistakes in a way that turns the site around, but he's fine with poking fun at his foibles, and from how often he refers to SA as his "dead gay comedy forum" it's clear that he's certainly not thin-skinned like most of the people who get talked about on KF.

He has a healthy attitude to self-deprecation.

For some reason the LP discord had to add what is effectively a trigger warning to their politics/news channel.
