Fred urks me. His powertripping is weird in its own right. Funnily enough he also has an ego and leads a group of people who kiss his ass and gets money for it. Interesting how he becomes what he hates. He dominates every conversation they have and every podcast. Him and that cackling female (who sounds like a landwhale) they have on zombie chicks or something I cba to know her name. Fred can interview people fine but you can't tell me he isn't like Phil in a lot of ways.

The greatest danger in staring too long into the void is that eventually one can become the void.
That whole group, with their hierarchy based on a takeover and voting people out with quoted member statements, reminds me of a cult.
The only reason people want a Leanna interview right now is so their podcast can attract a big audience...she would say nothing other than giving generic answers and the anticipation for getting a revealing interview would be completely dissipated. Holding off for some time is by far the best play.
There can be a much greater reward in forgoing short-term gratification in exchange for long-term gains.

The thing about Fred is he's the wittiest, most charismatic person that SoK has by a mile. Everybody else they have is a boring schmuck who might have a moment every now and then, but there's nothing really remarkable about them.

That being said, messaging the people who were playing Ft13 with Phil and telling them about how much of a shitstain he is was probably the most autistic thing I've seen somebody do.

I disagree, I think that this kind of thing isn't going over the line, since it's both a) Phil related; and b) on Phil's "home turf" (a vydia gaem chatroom). If someone plastered an ad on a Renton newspaper or hung up flyers over his neighborhood calling him all those things, then it would be completely unwarranted.

DarksydePhil: i'm sure the Columbine shooters were "just joking" about shooting up their school when they were planning it to. then they actually made the bombs, bought hte guns and did it. planning stuff like that is the first step to insanity.

It's near impossible these days for somebody in his mid-30s to meet a single female unless it's at a bar, at a gym, through friends, or online.
I don't see Phil as a smooth talker at the bar, his idea of working out is browsing for produce, friends are long-since squadoosh, and his online presence features him squeezing meat while looking like his soul was being sucked out.
He won't attract another lady anytime soon.

I actually think Phil has a chance at attracting a new girl fairly quickly. People know his name and donate money to him, he works from home in a place that he owns. It looks kinda good on paper, and some people are attracted specifically to stuff like that. We see through his bullshit, but obviously he can keep idiots wrapped up in his weird little image, so there's bound to be another girl out there as dumb as BSV and eager to be with someone 'famous'. I mean that's basically what Panda was. I don't think he'll be single if he decides he doesn't want to be.

But I bet he makes a lot of excuses to continue being an unattached shut in, because he's really lazy and being a bachelor will just be easier for him. Because he's also going to have to lower his standards a lot at this point. He's not a 'rising star' in the community, he's an obviously dying one. He has no real friends still hovering around, which makes him look like the caustic asshole he actually is. He's older, fatter, and in worse shape than ever (doing laundry got him worked up, which is about the most pathetic thing I've ever heard someone admit of their own free will). It clear he got dumped instead of the other way around, and even idiots can get a sense of how previous relationships shook out no matter how many self-stroking lies you pile on.

Panda was a younger asian girl who cooked his meals and did his laundry, and all she wanted from him was to act like he sorta cared about her. He couldn't manage that, and it's obvious losing the best girl he'll ever snag didn't humble him, so he didn't learn from his mistakes. I mean, he never learns from his mistakes, so it's just another one for the list. But at the end of it all, Panda was his high-water mark, so if he ends up dating again, expect a lot of public bitching about how she doesn't clean up behind him like a maid. He might get another girl, but neither of them will ever be as happy as him and Panda were.

And that's the most depressing sentence I've ever written.

I'm not sure. When he goes to brag about his youtube stuff to ladies now they are likely to find footage of him jerking off on stream. I almost feel bad for Panda, almost. I know at 18 I wasn't smart socially and can see how someone that age could get taken by a guy who talks big and does as little as possible, especially since she's got her own anxiety issues that can really feed in to needing to feel special. Women his own age are much less likely to get taken by that kind of thing, especially when they see the vinegar strokes via google.
