Not really. A single hammer blow to the head can easily kill someone. You don't have to sit there and wait for someone charging at you with a hammer, or threatening someone else with one, to blow them away. It's the right thing to do. Maybe if he was in riot armor and a shield and had non-lethal alternatives, but no reason to wait for him to be a successful murderer to stop him.

Knives are actually pretty shitty weapons, hammers and axes are much better for randomly assaulting innocent people.

Time to increase that constructive dialogue about the merits of liberal democracy to stop further attacks!

Was he The Resident, or one of the idiots Taking Over The Asylum system by screaming 'Let Me In'.

There will definitely be Fear In The Night that will carry Straight On Til Morning. And this is due to faulty borders in Europe. We must really Let The Right One In or else That's Your Funeral.

oh come on France, it's just terrorism. it's just a normal thing in life that happens now and we should just get used to it. it's not THAT big of a deal.

Blunt-force trauma is a big deal, especially if it happens to the head. Even if a hammer blow to the head doesn't kill you, it'll definitely cause brain damage.

Also, I don't know what the fuck a cop guarding the Notre Dame has to do with Syria.
