I tell people this is my cigarette case. It's actually my Uncle's ammunition case he was issued along with a M/66 Combat Magnum (Which I both own) by the coal company he worked for in the late 1980s. He was a high-up company man you see, and there was a strike on. There was car bombings, shootings and arson. One of the men I go to church with was shot because he was driving a coal truck. The man in the passenger seat was shot also. their assailants were chased up a hill and killed by the state police. there were many such strikes and its all been forgotten.
 
Rare Breed has finally launched their suit against Hoffman Tactical, which Tim Hoffman has been expecting and allegedly been prepared for. It's a bold strategy when Rare Breed has marketed the product using Hoffman's branding.

This is the basic NSSF indoor gun range video. If you go to an indoor range there's a good chance they force you to watch this before you check in. Theres edited down versions, if 8.5 minutes is too long.

In my experience, outdoor gun ranges have a wide variety of layouts and rules so im not sure if a good universal video exists, beyond basic safety stuff. No RO? Bring a friend and watch your back. RO? Try not to argue with the grumpy old guy in the fishing vest.

In another life I worked as a range safety officer while in college. Most of them are low IQ niggercattle. The fact the firing lanes have ditches at about 21 feet from the bullets carving them out...

I don't understand how this holds up in court? The HT SS is open source until those faggots twin bros patent trolled and sold it to Rare Breed, isn't this fraud?

In exchange for piss-poor legal defense, Rare Breed was essentially tasked by the ATF to enforce the patent on forced reset triggers/super safety whatever on anything remotely AR-shaped so they've quickly built up a massive negative reputation. Holding up in court has little to do with it, especially since RB allegedly patented the design using HT's diagrams. Just look back in the thread this whole situation is a mess. The first sentence is correct though.
As an aside they skipped the cease & desist and went straight to court.

Outdoor ranges in my experience are the worst/most draconian/most Fuddish since they tend to cater to the skeet and trap shooters, and ol' Elmer getting the new fangled scope on his Aught Six deer rifle sighted in. I'm talking about "No rapid fire! There must be at least five seconds between each shot!" and "No rifle calibers on the short/pistol range! Rifles on the 100yd, 200yd, and 300yd ranges only!" kinda rules. If I'm going to shoot outdoors, 99.9% of the time it will be on BLM land where I can do pretty much whatever the fuck I want. I'll only use the 100yd range at the outdoor range to get my optics zeroed, and that's only because they actually have an old guy there with a rig for zeroing optics.

I remember Ian and Karl talking about some of the public range stuff when InRangeTV was still good, and it sounded terrifying. People shooting at their targets when others go to check on theirs 10 feet next to them etc.
