Any clue to who's in his ear?
Not sure. Like, this is on the border of being crappy enough for Chris to figure it out himself.

I would imagine the clickbait / nerd girl shit Chris watches is full of "like and subscribe" and "check out my patreon" shit. So because Chris has been watching the same youtube marketing shtick a few dozen times, it's possible that he decided to give it a try himself. The fact that Chris didn't bother to try to protect against comic book leaks supports that theory.

But, of course, it could still be Watermelon or some other asspatter. (Few asspatters have access to Chris, but I think I know one or two might've gotten an in.) If it was watermelon, I can't imagine he would've lasted this long without getting Chris to try to personal army some Commander Keen spergs or Alec or something by now.

I think I'm leaning towards an independent Chris, but I wouldn't rule out someone pulling the strings.

(Y'know, this makes me wish Chris had actually taken marketing at PVCC. I mean, since he was destined to be a failure anyway, we'd get to see his terrible attempts at marketing psychobabble.)

I think he's realizing if he produces, he gets money, right now he's being paid $1,572 per year thanks to exceptional individuals who have donated to his Patreon, I doubt he's going to share that.

Chris tweeted the page to Planet Dolan.

It can't be Waterman. It would be even more boring than this.

Someone must have done his patreon for him or helped at the least. the last time he set up his patreon he thought it was a kickstarter and had a tier for $250,000. It's organized far too well.

Heh, Chris gets pissed off when people point out Sonichu's copyright issues because they're like his family.

This is his second attempt after seeing other people's patreons and he's actually giving it a solid try this time. This is a pretty average Chris project.
