Actually Chris has complimented fanart before. His compliments tend to sound kind of condescending, but I don't think it's intentional. For instance there was a nice piece of fanart with Sonichu and Rosechu dancing that he received, which he proceeded to draw "correctly" because the artist got Rosechu's tail wrong. I don't think he has the visual acuity to tell good art from bad, but he can see if a character is wearing the right colored shoes or some details like that. If I can access the cwcki I post the video.
