Well, it can have that sort of effect, it's not the only cause, but it can certainly be the straw that breaks the camel's back. It certainly was for this guy. On the other hand, there are batshit crazy people who don't do this stuff too. It just takes a certain environment, biology, and a few other factors for someone to do what he did.

There was a lot wrong with that guy, but I think lack of socio-sexual success is the straw that broke the camel's back. Sure, even if he did get laid, there may be things wrong with him but I don't think he would have done what he did if he at least lost his virginity.

I don't know how many times you need to be told this, by how many people, because I've seen you talk about this before. I thought you'd toned it down in recent months but now you're at it again. I tried to break it down in a very simple way, and sometimes profanity and "mean" language is absolutely necessary when people REFUSE to get it. You don't know women because there IS no way to KNOW WOMEN. You can't make generalizations about what you KNOW to be true because you don't and CAN'T know. Every person on this planet has an individual and unique identity; obviously social groups exist, but they don't completely strip people of who they are.

Telling them nice things because you like them and think they're nice people, not because if you do it enough you'll finally be able to drop a load in her.

I used to live in the DC area. There is a wealthy and successful businessman from the area called "Lenny" (I can't remember his last name - there's a YT video of him being stopped by police, and there's a dashboard cam -- it's actually pretty funny) who has spent untold thousands of dollars on a custom Lamborghini and Batman suit. The difference is that Lenny's favorite thing to do is not pie people in the face, or whatever thing Black Sonichu finds unacceptable about guys who dress up like superheroes, but to visit area hospitals, go to the kids' wards, talk to each and every sick kid, and leave them all with backpacks full of little Batman paraphernalia like bracelets. Now, not all of us can do philanthropy on this scale, but the fact that he can and does? I don't even care that he's decades older than me. I'd give him a tumble, were I single, just for being fucking awesome to sick kids.

Volunteering for anyone? Animals included? Excellent. Sick and terrified children? Especially excellent. To use BFL's analogy above, volunteering and doing something especially wonderful for your community is like an instant path to a nice lawn.

What doesn't fucking offend people these days? Seriously, I never said virginity was the sole cause, just that it seems to be a common trait amongst his kind. If what Satan says is true, Breivik is perhaps the exception and not the rule. Nothing excuses what they did, I never said anyone should be excused for it. The reasons are numerous and too broad for the scope of this thread. His entitlement definitely played a role, though. No one single thing causes people like him, it's always multiple things.

I'm not a big fan of social groups, personally, they reek of tribalism and keeping people out. Too much like high school. It's way worse in my area than it should be. Especially worse for me since I'm not from around here. Maybe I'll post more about myself at a later date, the interests thing is difficult for me, at least with the locals. I'm not really into anime and I don't really play video games much anymore, I'll tell you that much. I really haven't had any recent interests other than work, to be honest.

Dating sites, for me, have been little more than a bad joke. At least the "free" ones. So I deleted them and never looked back. I made an honest account with my real picture and stuff. Still no takers, so there's no point in continuing that route, at least with the locals. Living somewhere else might bring better results, but that's nothing to hold your breath on.

I have volunteered in the past, but nothing that would interest women. At least, I don't think delivering supplies within a hospital would interest them all that much. Unless you have a fetish for massive boxes of medical supplies or something.

When it comes to leaving a lasting impression, what you say is never as important as how and when you say it. I'd say that's like 80-90% of your problem (but I am bad with percentages so take that with a grain of salt). You don't have to listen to me or anything, but honestly you could stand to fundamentally change your core beliefs when it comes to women and dating (and how it relates to you!).
