Feedback Technical Grievances

For a few months now I've been trying to change the Sploopity Sploosh under my profile, but it's never been enough of an issue to bitch about it, so now I guess I will. I actually don't even have the option to change it, as there's no menu or anything for it. Am I retarded?
 
Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but didn't want to message staff since we're not supposed to ask about restrictions. I've been registered for over 3 years but still can't vote in the Julay's. Not sure if that's by design or not, just wanted to note it.

I think it's by post count and not by join date. I'd say exactly the opposite should be the case since someone who has been here that long without sperging the fuck out is probably worthwhile.

BTW your website has become so infested with anime nigger retards and furries and other perverts that I ran out of ignores, can you increase it from 1000 to 10000 or so so that there is some headroom

I'm half way to just writing a selenium script to automatically identify and unignore banned/inactive people to free up space but I will probably still eventually run out of room even if I do that as I believe the active number likely exceeds 1000

Your words make sense. Anyone with a little anime girl for an avatar should only count as 3/5 of a user and should be confined to Spergatory by default.

Seriously though, how online are you that you found 1,000 people to ignore? I have maybe 10 and they are known turds and/or Thunderdomers. :story:

They were so consistently posting the most faggoty nails-on-chalkboard retard opinions ever that I started ignoring them whenever I saw them based solely on their avatar instead of evaluating the content of their posts

It hugely improved my experience on the website, but I ran out of room after about a year or so so I am requesting more capacity tbh

It turns out they are mostly socially incestuous in any given thread and yammer at eachother all day long without much engagement from normal human beings so it basically turns reading threads back into what the website kindof was when I first got here without almost ever seeing ignored peoples content quoted. It actually like turns the threads normal again its great

Use uBlock filters:

kiwifarms.st##article[data-author="geckogoy"]

Replace geckogoy for the user you want to ignore.

Such people are usually only active for a short period. I bet if you unignored them all and then reignored as needed you would find the list cut at least in half.

I also have a general unignore rule if someone replies to them, and it isn't just to call them a retard, and I look at what they said and they've apparently stopped being a retard since then, plus I can't even remember why I ignored them in the first place.
