The Elder Scrolls

The worst part of ESO is how dull, unremarkable and sterile it is
Tooting my own here but whatever, the NY drunken stupor also made me realize that I forgot a crucial element of ESO's sterility - it has no gore. I know this is probably also true for almost all MMOs, but ESO has none. No blood splatters on weapons, characters or evnironment - the only brief instance of blood happens when you use the (DLC exclusive, naturally) blade of woe skill to instantly murder an NPC. No gibs, no dismemberment, no finishing moves - best you can hope for is human NPCs (nothing else is affected) crumbling to pieces or dust after you kill them with an ice or fire spell. Melee users get no feedback. Even Morrowind has blood particles when you hit someone.

fuck this faggot, TES doesn't really have a era setting of sorts, if they wanted to add a HK416 SPEAR they would without zero issues and only the most retarded of tes fans (ie: the fucking faggot in the video) would try to bitch about it especially since time travel is a thing in the series, as it's implied only the aedra that still sort of in mundus are supposed to be the time jannies when you remember pelinal.

I was always kind of wishing that TES 6/7 (lmao) would move the game forward technologically, like I'm not saying they need to be primary weapons but some black powder weaponry made because of a continent wide war would be cool, you could have them be like the Big Guns skill in Fallout where they're more late game weapons.

Was it ESO or just retard redditors that tried to say Pelinal wasn't actually a time traveling terminator robot?
probably redditors as ESO only hints to his wrath as a equipment set.
also when looking about pelinal for stuff i found this...

I think Dwemer have a sort of steam punk aesthetic, but conventional firearms in TES probably don't make a lot of sense since they have magic. Pretty much every researcher is a mage and all the most advanced tech runs on soul gems, so it probably wouldn't be a natural conclusion to use a combustible powder for the purpose of propelling a projectile. It could work, but it'd have to be a little more whimsical.

if anything magic should slow down tech development but not completely stop it, the entire redguard thing having airships and even cannons could be a response to races that have low magic predisposition like, well, redguards, if anything flintlock pistols shouldn't be a impossibility but restorative magics and potions can help alot in mitigating it, a cannon blast on the other hand? if it hits the face, yeah there isn't much that can be done but blasting off a limb you can just cast healing hands.

also wards being ineffective to a degree is a thing to consider too, while they can help against magic they easily break against arrows and maces so a cannon blast should have zero problems getting through it and while mages can teleport around if you catch one unaware there should be zero issues in giving a magicfaggot a one way ticket to aetherius since exploding bolts are a thing on skyrim...

Bím ag cásamh mheathlú na sochaí, athraíonn sé ó áit go háit! Irish trannies are not pleasant people to be around.

I get mentioning it, people will mention TESO's fireworks if he doesn't so he mentioned it first for the sake of argument. Also disregarding TESO immediately is based in my books.

I haven't seen the video so I don't know if he tried to justify modern firearms in Elder Scrolls (which would be retarded) but I think you're being a bit nuts over the mere mention of it. I'll have to watch the video first to see if it's worth losing my shit over.

For me personally, leaps in technology needs to be justified as better/more cost effective than what is magically available. Not everyone can do magic so black powder firearms would be great for the common soldier. I'd imagine it would fit more into the civilian side of society rather than the military at the end of the day.

Prob Reddit. ESO has shown sympathy towards ultra expanded lore. It references robot Queen Ayrenn (something made in C0da years before) but only as a conspiracy theorist flier.

I remember watching that post-launch Skyrim developer fiesta thing where all the game developers make their own mods in a marathon. Every single mod should've been official, but one dude straight up made spears that you could also throw. Just make fucking projectiles Todd. Crossbows in Skyrim always felt shoehorned in; make them proper and add some basic guns.

i mean the song of pelinal kind of mentions that pelinal has a megaman-like arm buster the books call the killing light, so yeah tech in his time is very advanced, could be magic? sure but light beams isn't something exclusive to magic as you can do a laser map when trying to find the elder scroll in skyrim.
having that so advanced that you can focus and actually fuck shit up is possible but in a undisclosed time era, also pelinal doesn't work by terminator time travel rules because his armor is from the future too.

The first concept was Ateiggaer's, and Xeno made new ones based on it.

This Falmer armor was intended to be a special armor for Falmer Wraithbinders; potentially fused with ice-wraith essence.
So I think for this armor specifically it might be more likely it's high end steel, or adamantine given the intended rarity.

The second concept was Tammil's, and IMO would also look good as a Falmer steel set, so ideally concepts 1, 3 and 4 should be branchedinto a new asset request.

MANNEQUIN
Originally a template for Falmer illusion magic, mannequins were retooled as guards and weapons during the war with the nords. Without glamour the mannequin is a mirror glassy skinned humanoid with no discernable features. They can slip easily into and out of invisibility. They attack with either weapons or with their claws. Possibly Kinumne connection if that thread is pickd up.
New Tamriel Rebuilt assets. This time for Falmer/Snow Elves. Instead of the Ayleid's fleshcrafting or Direnni alchemical monsters the Falmer seem themed on illusion and enchantment. Binding the magical beasts of Skyrim to their service with glamours enchanting them.

Wasn't this kind of Oblivion where they made him a ghost?

It's weird that out of all the things from that Game Jam, spears never made it in.

They seemed to be functional and animated well enough. IIRC, the Goblin creation actually has them using spears but you're not allowed to.

That being said, guns in Elder Scrolls is fucking retarded. They can barely get guns right in Fallout as it is.

this is part of the problem with the current game communities in regards to sequels, they always expect a follow-up to a popular game to be some massive overhaul when there is in-universe limitations to most of it happening, it’s part of why i’m critical of GTA VI hype, it’s going to be GTA V in Florida and TES VI will be Skyrim in a desert, I don’t personally think that’s nessecarily a bad thing, but there’s far too many retards that don’t understand that games in the same universe are going to be similar to one another and not to mention that the current technological limits have diminishing returns in terms of sequels imho normalfag twitter gamers need to calm down

From what I was told, it is mandatory for therapists to suggest chopping off your bits, crossdressing, and taking incredibly harmful medication as one of first things, if not the first thing, when dealing with depression and other mental problems. Of course most therapists would probably suggest that willingly but it's their employers that make it mandatory for anyone working in that industry who actually wants to help people. I don't support therapy and never have since it's a scam in a half but I still feel sad that people who seek them out for help are used as test subjects and puppets for propaganda.
A lot of trannies do not even go as far as getting an official diagnosis or something, it's why homemade HRT ("Troonshine") was something of a lucrative industry for a time. This self-diagnosis, when affirmed, then forces a therapist into concurring because that's all therapy is - hearing a patient explain a bunch of stuff, follow up with questions, and correlate what's said with pre-existing criteria to syndromes and conditions and then they pick a diagnosis that best fits. It's not like the therapist hears a list of generic symptoms and then goes, "ah yes, you're obviously a tranny!" A tranny who has already decided they're a tranny throwing in shit that's obviously not true ("I've always felt like a woman," "I've never been comfortable with being a man," etcetera) muddies the water. Of course the psychologist/psychiatrist who has no standards will just prescribe as the hormones the troon desires but if they were all so easily led on homemade HRT wouldn't be a necessity.

Micky probably fell into a porn spiral during a depressive spiral, because it's a quick release of dopamine which can alleviate a low mood, albeit temporarily, then requires another hit. He eventually got out of his rut of depression, but his porn addiction (or porn itself) remains central to his life now because it was a source of "happiness" for him becoming a large part of his life – especially if it played a part in his trooning out. The purple lighting in his "after" pic is prominent in amateur trans porn in lieu of professional lighting because it obscures the more masculine edges of a tranny and is why it's also prominent in the videos of Contrapoints and Philosophytube - it's a tranny trick to make themselves look more feminine on camera.

If Micky were more Irish and simply ruined his liver by drowning it in Guinness instead of his brain in hormones and porn, he'd probably be better by now (Livers are rather resilient, until they're not) or dead, both of which are preferable to becoming a tranny. Essentially, instead of being remembered somewhat fondly ala Mittensquad, he's probably gonna snark his way into irrelevancy or change his presentation on Youtube and become caustic to his core audience. He'll replace his viewership with tranny bots effectively (don't watch the vid, just post praise), and I think he's especially fucked because praise by itself didn't get him out of his depression, so the half-assed affirmations from other trannies probably won't get as much mileage with him than it does with an honest and true narcissist like Jim Sterling/PhilosophyTube.

Getting out of depression can come from making positive changes to your life, but the mere act of change itself can be enough for some, which is why a lot of troons feel elated when they transition – they're simply getting out of their depressive state like anyone else, it's just in conjunction with living out a delusion.

I have a pet theory that the correlation of Gen-Z and LGBT stats is because Gen-Z are also less likely to drink and smoke like other generations, meaning substance addiction for mental decline has effectively been replaced by porn addiction. They then get desensitised, fall into an auto-erotic spiral and either become some flavour of gay or tranny, but I digress.

The depression returns eventually, usually because the only "change" they make is tied to their transing but otherwise they continue to stew in the life which made them unhappy to begin with. Then they loathe what they've done to themselves and they'll either suicide or detrans, which'll also give them a similar bout of happiness to transitioning because it's a "change" in their life and unless it's accompanied by a positive change in their life trajectory then they'll just become depressed again.

Regarding therapy, I think it's a scam insofar that it's just a dressed up branch of philosophy that has been legitimised as a form of medical science. Freud's whole schtick is basically applying philosophical Idealism to human behaviour (our individual perception of reality affects it/our subconscious [essentially Kant's view of intuition] affects our actions). You yourself can do what a psychiatrist does by being extremely introspective with yourself, and try to find a pattern between your actions, behaviours, emotions, but then try to surmise why you do the things you do without emotion or biases involved. That's the main point of difficulty for people, because some people can't be objective with themselves or at all introspective.

Kiwifarms does what a solo phycologist does, just collaboratively, for fun.
It'd be collaboratively psychiatry but the site can't dispense drugs or sign prescriptions.

The Tribunal's general mental states can be attributed to their collective guilts over Indoril Nerevar's murder alongside their ascensions. As a form of cope, Almalexia became a delusional narcissist (her murder can thus be justified retroactively due to her divinity), Vivec disassociated from himself and reality thus unbinding himself from the act itself, and Soltha Sil self-isolated (schizoid personality disorder, potentially, and some sort of benign misanthropy – his guilt only matters if other people exist that can judge him for the act itself, which he has gone to lengths to effectively bring about by isolating himself in a city of machines, and makes it so the only form of validation he needs come from himself, which manifests as obsessive perfectionism).

This tripe is to make this post more thread relevant lmao

He made an offhand comment stating why here - https://x.com/DeMickyD/status/2007168682498416915

I really do hope he snaps out of it and comes to his senses.
