Unless there's obvious signs of violence to the body, they won't do more than a cursory autopsy. Only if he manages to die in some extravagant or truly strange way, will there be any interest in his remains.

The place he's living will of course need fumigation and a thorough cleaning, likely the owner will be on the hook for that bill. Death scene cleanup will have to disinfect the entire place. What fucks with me the most, @Thomas Jay Wasserberg, is that this is you use of your twilight years.

You're old. I know you don't like to talk about it, but you're getting up there, and even if you are in as good a shape as you say, how much longer do you suppose you have? 5 years? Ten? You've no money for the health problems that set in during the twilight years (heart troubles, Alzheimer's, dementia, ect), so you can't afford care facilities or any kind of preventative care. You live alone. You eat trash. You don't seem to have a lot of friends.
Does it bother you that you're spending the twilight of your life yelling at internet trolls? Do you ever worry about how even after you're gone, we'll still be here cracking jokes at your expense?
I'm really not trying to be mean, but there are questions seniors have to think about.
For example, do you have any money set aside for burial or expenses? You won't be remembered, but anything is better than just being tossed somewhere by the system like they do with the homeless. Do you have anyone checking on you regularly?

Child molestation statute actually, you can be prosecuted at any time, in many states the victim has seven to ten years from the date of outcry (when they first realize it was illegal/rape) to call the cops.
This is so that a child who is unable to escape family influence to keep quiet can prosecute later when it's safe. if the victim has not yet spoken out about this, his admission to the act can still be used to convict him in future.

I'm not certain this applies (that victim may have spoken up twenty years ago and failed to prosecute for some reason, may be dead, etc) but if she's still living and hasn't yet reported this to anyone, it could still happen. California recently extended the statute of limitation on this kind of crime in particular.
