I love how fucking feeble and gay this is

Comedy Central’s Broad City isn’t usually an overtly political show, but it is very much about the world its characters live in. That means it occasionally makes sense for the show to acknowledge politics, like with last season’s big Hillary Clinton cameo, but the political digressions are going to look a bit different in the show’s upcoming fourth season—or, rather, they’ll sound a bit different. As reported by USA Today, star Ilana Glazer says they wrote the season under the assumption that Clinton would win, but when the “game-show host” won instead, they “rewrote a lot.”

Furthermore, just to underline Broad City’s general disgust for Donald Trump, Glazer says that they decided to “bleep his name” all season.
It sounds like a fairly funny and delightfully casual way to dismiss any power Trump wields, and it’s really just a shame that people in the real world aren’t lucky enough to hear his name bleeped out as well.

Broad City returns on August 23, and you can see a trailer at this link.

THAT'LL SHOW [REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE]

Couldn't that legitimately get him in trouble with the Secret Service?

So they're elevating Trump to somewhere roughly equal to where jews hold God, oops sorry G*d.

I think the writers of Broad City are taking the God Emperor memes a bit too far

You, me and this whole thread knows it's just another Harry Potter reference for the delusional children on the left

South Park does too, but the difference they make fun of everything without putting personal feelings into the mocking.
Stone and Parker have actually stated they won't make fun of Trump all that much since they believe he's funny by himself and they don't need to focus on him. They're handling it like they did with Bush, in that they don't think there's a lot they can say that everyone else hasn't already said.

Of course that was right after the election, so now I'm wondering if that's gonna change by the start of the next season.

It says a lot about the maturity of leftist hipsters that they seriously believe a billionaire who lives in a giant ass tower with is name on it will be emotionally devastated by them calling him a poo poo head.

What do you mean? They know it has to work, because of the literally millions of Avengers fanfictions where a fat girl berates Tony Stark until he sees how beautiful her currrrrves are and ditches that skinny slutshamer Pepper for his One True Love...

You know damn well that's what they read (in between the Superwholock incest fics).

im confident that Matt and Trey are funny enough that they won't go into bashing Trump for next season, seeing as how its overdone and they've always had that 'going against the grain' mentality

The latest season took a few shots at Trump by just showing how similar his populist shit was to the things Mr. Garrison says, which was a pretty funny parallel to be honest, even for me and I like Trump. Matt and trey seem to be able to laugh at the Emperor's new clothes without making it seem like self-fellating bullshit, which is a big part of their charm. Though I have a feeling there's more jokes about the left losing their shit this season than about Trump
