If our corrections system was at all humane, he'd get treatment for his alcoholism while serving his sentence. At the very least, he'd get medical support for detox, as alcohol withdrawal can kill you.

Shit, Brock Turner, who was convicted of rape was only sentenced to six months and got out in three, so Ralphie might be a free man before too long. Depends on the location.
