If he had a shred of intelligence, he'd join a white supremacist gang like the Aryan Brotherhood to watch his back (it's not like he needs to play up the being racist bit, that comes naturally for him). He will probably also garner respect for being in for assaulting a police officer which inmates think is a pretty cool reason to be in jail.

You seriously don't want to get mixed up with criminal gangs that feel you owe them for life. Not over some bullshit disorderly offense. This isn't Oz or some shit.

It's not like he'll be in maximum security with all the rapists and murderers, will he? He'll be put in with the other losers serving minor sentences.

I did some work at a prison, it's pretty chill, most of them were just bored, most were morons. Worst I ever saw was someone drink drain cleaner and puke all over. He'll probably have some idiot lean on him for cash and if he's smart he'll just ignore it.

Or he'll get caught up with someone saying they can get him booze. That'll end well.
 
To be realistic six months in county is rarely ever six months, especially if you don't have a record. It's entirely possible he'll be out in a week on probation with a suspended sentence and they'll just throw him back in if he fucks up again.

Depends on the jail. One county I lived, the jail food was so good that defense lawyers, prosecutors and even judges would find excuses to eat there. Then they hired Aramark or some shit and ruined that cushy deal.

Guy's not going in with the hardcore criminals. He's spending a few months in county for pussyslapping a cop. Most likely his cellmate will be some dude who got caught siphoning gas while on probation.

It's kinda amazing how many of you think that literally everyone who has ever stepped foot into jail immediately becomes either a top or a bottom. It's almost like you're basing your entire knowledge of jail from Oz and shitty movies or something.

Also, as many others have said, he's not going in with the mass murderers and child molesters.

One thing I've found about this site is the extent to which people who've literally told us they're exceptional think they know all about major social issues and can solve them easily.
