Man, the lost potential of Hazbin Hotel can't be under-stated. From seeing how figures in Heaven like Adam and St. Peter and Abel are portrayed, I dread what they'll do to Michael.

Turn the badass leader of Heaven's army and who kicked the power-hungry Lucifer out of God's domain into some obnoxious beta clown? Vilify him as an absolute genocider of any sinner so that the illusion of perfect order can be maintained? I wouldn't put it past Viv.

She either ignores the archangels which is a fuck-up since they're among the most prominent of heavenly figures, or she turns them into either unfunny try-hard comedian doormats or merciless annihilators of even the slightest wickedness. I'm not inclined to believe she'll settle into a more tolerable middle ground.

I'm an ex-Christian, and even I feel offended by Viv's incompetent appropriation of Christian mythology.

I used to be a fan of Helluva Boss but after a while I started getting some kind of vague gross feeling about Viv and her work. I suspect it's something to do with how if she wasn't, then she could have been one of those yaoi obsesssed invader zim fans who talked down to everybody else who didn't draw edgy gay porn. She just gives me Holier Than Thou Fujushi Fangirl vibes.
Very "LOL RAWR GEY DIXX!11" fan whose ass everybody else kissed in hopes that they'll be popular by association if they're seen having even a surface-level conversation with her. The other fans started looking more and more rabid, cringy, pedantic, hypocritical and tonedeaf the more time I spent around them. For a brief period of time, I think I knew what it felt like to be a Republican in like, San Francisco or something.

I like the art style a lot, but watching anything she does just makes my skin crawl anymore.
