The only thing I know is that they measure an adult here if you have specific surgeries, then they measure before and after.
I imagine they might measure you in other specific instances where you have a diagnosis that affects your bone density or such but it's not standard and for myself I haven't been measured since I was in the early twenties.

It's very interesting to see how it works in different countries.
