He was really good at fucking with Chance because he was like an early Chris-Chan troll more than the newer zoomers fucking with cows. Towards the end he started to become slightly more malicious towards other cows and seemingly got sick of Chance, but he welded power over him much like ABL did over Chris, Chance would be screaming at the top of his lungs about how Marty ruined his life one minute, to the next doing a Cyraxx song contest, or dancing for him, or Raxx seemingly trying to be a good friend or setting Marty up by telling him not to pay taxes. John John got us pretty close to those moments, but Marty really held an Iron Fist over Chance, and I'm sure deep down Cyraxx realizes that a lot of this more gay shit didn't happen before Marty died, and his death just made people fuck with him more, as opposed to how he thought it would go down. He would scream and yell at Marty, assuming all the trolls that got through the gate were assigned by Marty, telling him that once he died he'd be happy because nobody would fuck with him. Now Marty is dead in a depressing way and Raxx is forced to realized that no, it wasn't infact just Marty, and most normies find him repulsive. That's why he had such a intense reaction when LOTT tweeted about him. He's nothing more than a scared little drugged out goblin.

Cobes was a good man with a mental disorder and vices (booze, horrifically unhealthy food, etc.) that lead to his downfall. Cyraxx is nothing but his vices, nothing but his dark impulses. If I can sperg, as someone diagnosed OCD, I saw a lot of myself in Cobes and I think Cobes was absolutely afflicted with some kind of OCD, moral OCD most likely. His constant rants about sickos, how he wants an ALIVE OF AGE CONSENTING NON RELATED HUMAN CISGENDER GOTH FEMALE as a partner, the boy had intrusive thoughts and his coping mechanism was developing this mantra, which turned into a compulsion. It's fascinating, because it really seems like Raxx is just what a human would be if it had nothing BUT intrusive thoughts. He's every little nasty compulsion, every single evil fleeting thought that flashes into your head, and he has no self control, he has nothing to keep him from stopping to think "huh, maybe i shouldn't start jerking off right now."

IMO there are two reasons why John John has not reached Marty’s level of trolling.

1. He is not as brazen as Marty was.

2. He just doesn’t have enough free time to dedicate to fucking with Cyrax like Marty did.

People said Marty was really nice behind the scenes. Specifically Dale Lynn, who I don't remember ever having interacted with him before, but she mentions he's, "not what people think" in the calls with Deathbydesign. He also never read the names of people asking to be anon. It's a small thing, but it helps gain trust.

Listened to the Death By Design and Rax Aunt call and the amount of moralfagging DBD does is equal parts as annoying as the aunt, giving unending excuses to Chance's behavior, disagreeing with every presented solution.

"He doesn't know any better!", "He has the mind of a child!", "The trolling isn't helping!"

I can understand where marty was coming from with feeling regret for beating cyraxx up. Not because cyraxx doesn't deserve it, but I imagine the entire experience really changed the vibe for him regarding fucking with chance. There's no sense of accomplishment in beating up some weak retard and cyraxx learned absolutely nothing from it. Its like some fucked up lolcow version of "never meet your heroes"'

Makes me think about times I've seen links to facebook group posts about people like cyraxx and cobes and the comments are limp bizkit looking dudes posing with their kids in front of their double wide and honda civic saying shit like "yeah as a 6 month sober addict that found god and almost died i would love to fucking wood chipper cyraxx cuz he gives real racing rappers like us a bad name"

When it comes down to it, Marty was a loser. Anyone who commits that much time to torturing a freak in an attic isn't doing too well, but john2 seems much more level and I get the impression of a fairly normal life outside of the internet.

He was a drug addict, but he exposed a third generation rapist to the world and made us all laugh. I don't know if Cyraxx deserves to be tortured but I know that the rest of the world does not deserve to be tortured by him.

MBM was a loser and a degen, but there was a certain charm in the fact that he was always pretty honest about it? He never tried to moralfag about his interest in poking the goblin with a stick, and was upfront that he did it for laughs (with a side of revenge for the Jamie slander).

It always felt like he was that kid in school who would bring in a jar with some weird, fucked up bug he found so that we could all gather around and watch him poke it with a stick. Sometimes he'd even bring in two weird, fucked up bugs so we could watch them fight.

He wasn't perfect, his trolling arcs could get repetitive and he could be a petty asshole, but damn, I miss the Drift King.

John also has a successful main (and somewhat mainstream) YouTube channel, which I assume is either his entire livelihood or a good portion of it. So he'll never be as brazen or over the top as Martdawg. He knows going too far could lose him his golden goose.

Also he's not a drug addict with possible brain damage (I feel like it came out at some point Marty had been hurt playing football in his youth, and there was some speculation he had started behaving differently after it? Correct me if I'm wrong).
 
TBH, I also wonder if some of the reason Cyraxx rarely engages with WGH or CVG or John John the way he did with Marty is because they've ALWAYS been blatantly antagonistic towards him. He and MBM would go from business partners to mortal enemies to buddies, and whatever Cyraxx claims, it's obvious he viewed Marty as... I don't know, "friend" feels wrong. Maybe there's a word for it in goblin-speak, but I'm not fluent.

After the Tibbz breakup, even after everything Marty did to him, Cyraxx ran to Marty.

I don't think he believes that he can scheme and manipulate and lie his way into being on good terms with CVG, WGH and crew, or John John, so he just mutes them and screams over them. And if someone lays the groundwork for setting up a neutral or positive relationship with Cyraxx, they're either a useless buddy troll that hides him in a secret Discord channel or gets accused of being too friendly with Cyraxx and run off by the angry masses. (I'm still bitter about Blame Katie being chased away. *sigh* )

(For the record, I don't blame anyone for not wanting to even pretend to be Cyraxx's friend, because that is a grim and thankless undertaking, and we've seen the grim fate of 99.9% of the people who have made a go at it.)
