Why does he even bother with that townhome when all he does is spend most of his time in his office anyhow.
It's plain and simple stubborn pride. As well as maintaining the illusion that he's made it because he is a homeowner, even though most of his income comes via begging online.
Additionally, I doubt Phil has the first clue how to go about the process of selling a home. Leanna took care of everything in the move from Connecticut. The guy can't even figure out how to "un-kick" members he accidentally boots in stream chat.

You mean he can't be arsed to unkick people. Kicked people will either be trolls or fans who will give him more money to be unkicked.

He wants to be Mr. Hotshot with the fancy house and new car to show that playing video games is a real job but he also wants to be barely getting by and need every dime you can spare or he'll be on the streets.

for 250k I feel like it isn't even that nice. I would rather have something smaller and nicer than 250k for neighbors on both sides and a shitty little patio. For 250k you could get a condo in a high rise somewhere cool with a balcony. I think he wanted the feel of a house but it's DSP so he opted for the cahndo instead.

I would love to ask an actual pro/tournament player if playing online is really that bad. I imagine you can feel some sort of delay, but even after having ten years to learn how to fucking play online, Phil is still playing it up like he could beat any of these people offline.

I've seen this with other games. Guys who exclusively play the arcade version do notice a difference in the home ports. There's even subtle visual and audio differences you wouldn't notice unless you really played the arcade version.

So even slight changes that don't really effect gameplay too much can change it up. If the game plays slower or faster than what they're used to is the big one. But you know what good players do? They adapt. So long as the port is mostly true to the original arcade version and doesn't feature weird balance changes. Most of the tourney people will say "good enough" and play that if they have to. *

This is from 07 or maybe 09 or so at a tournament in Texas. Phil got his ass handed in ST even though this was the authentic arcade version. His excuse this time was "Buggy American arcade controls dood!" Meanwhile no other tourney players complained about this.

Online is whatever in a game like ST. It is possible for inputs to drop or latency to effect the game. But from everything that I've seen it looks like Phil just completely lost all of his fundamentals and reaction time has dwindled.

Edit: I should note that all of this shit is no longer a thing ever since arcade's have pretty much completely died outside of Japan and if there's an arcade version the home port version is nearly identical to the arcade. The ONLY issue that comes up from time to time is a certain home port might have slightly more lag (in milliseconds and yes, you can feel that tiny bit of lag when playing.). So tournaments usually stick to the home version that has the least amount of input lag.

These pictures will never get old. Yet another perfect representation of their time together:

People have all sorts of opinions on Leanna, but it's evident that she did care a great deal for Phil and he didn't appreciate her.
These pictures kind of make a person hold onto the one they hold dear a little tighter...or if a person is begrudgingly single, to cry a little harder.

Holy shit

If he was smart, he would airbnb his spare rooms for quick cash...but he would have to clean up the place, take pics, and not be a creepy neckbeard.
Yeah, I can imagine that review.

Came to stay at a townhome in Renton, WA. Not too far from Seattle by car. Room was very small and the bed was too big for the room size. The room was alright considering, I've stayed in worse places but the noise I heard at night was incredibly rude considering I am paying for a quiet non intrusive atmoshpere. At all times of the day the room next door I would hear screeching, loud annoying laughing, video games going off and shouting "dood, fuck you, ack ack ack". Suffice to say, I did not get restful sleep. Another thing about this place is the upkeep/cleanliness. There was dust everywhere and clutter and figurines and childs toys everywhere even in the kitchen. The owner is incredibly rude and a disheveled man in his late 40's unkempt and was incredibly skittish. The internet is also slow or obstructed/not set up correctly also no air conditioning which made it incredibly stuffy and hard to breathe in there. Suffice to say I left earlier than I planned to find a hotel.

2/10 I do not reccomend staying here and am reaching out to the owner for a refund. Only reason I gave it a 2 is how close it is to fast food places for a quick bite.

I know someone who is getting a gold star on their chore chart.

Reminds me of those NEET Lady Wojak pictures; except if you replaced them with DSP there'd be little difference.

"Don't watch!"

You sure you want that, Phil? Cause all the data is saying people are doing just that...

And then there's all that rambling about his allergies and stuff. Dumbass probably doesn't realize that going outside would help, along with cleaning the filters in his AC system. But that might as well be nuclear engineering to Phil.

You wake up at 3AM to get some water when you notice a crackling noise coming from the kitchen. You turn the kitchen light on and you're met by the owner of the house, who's still in the same clothes he was in when you came back hours ago. He's hunched over the stove, obviously frying bacon for some reason. He hunches further and you don't know if he's being overly protective of his food or he's trying to keep you from seeing what he's doing despite the smell giving it away. As you're getting your water, he stares at you with wide eyes like a dog who was just discovered ripping up a pillow. You don't care so you drink your water and go back to sleep.

The next day when you come back to the house you're immediately struck over the head by the owner's voice. "C'MON DOOD THIS AI IS CHEATING ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK." He's playing video games again, which is great because it's worth stomaching his voice if you don't have to look at his greasy, blubbery physique for another few hours. As you start relaxing, you hear him again.

"OH, THAT RENTER BITCH? YEAH HE'S A RETARD ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK. HE WOKE ME UP LAST NIGHT BECAUSE HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THE SINK. UH, DOOD, YOU JUST TURN THE FAUCET. NOT A HARD THING TO DO IF YOU'RE A CIVILIZED HUMAN BEING. I DUNNO HOW HE LIVES ON HIS OWN ACK ACK ACK ACK."
