Phil has produced a lot of drama this year and we are only at the half-way point.
He was:
Dumped by Machinima.
Lavaria Media drama
Switch bricked
Dumped by his Girlfriend
Copyright strike by Atlus.
I made a bet with a friend that DSP would survive 2017 and most likely crash and burn in 2018. I've never been so wrong in my entire life.

And with the Leanna situation he was already bitchy and mouthing off to people in his chat, I wonder how bitchy he is gonna be tomorrow or will he play the meek victim for pity

Now I don't know anything about Persona but from their guidelines I found this :
  • Must not focus solely on cutscenes/animated scenes, should prominently feature dungeon crawling/spending time in Tokyo.
And with a little youtubeing it looks like fusing Personas causes a cutscene to play. From what he's saying one of the episodes was solely fusing so wouldn't he be breaking the guidelines?

DSP knew he should not upload videos with fusion in it, cause everytime he did that on stream, he was joking with it, saying No-No and A-A-A, waving his pointy finger to the camera. Guess who is laughing now.

I think everybody needs to relax a little on the 'this is the end of DSP,' hyperbole that is happening for the 10th time this year, as much laughter as I'd get if this was the case.

When he streams, he has people throwing him fifty dollar plus tips from out of nowhere every couple of days and at this point I'd be pretty confident in saying he probably takes in more revenue through Twitch, than he does in Youtube advertising money. I highly doubt he's going to lose his Youtube channel or partnership over this but even if he did, he's going to be okay. It's pretty clear at this point that his finances are nowhere as bad as he claims and losing his channel would probably see an increase in Twitch and Patreon interaction anyway, so any news of the end of DSP are pretty much greatly exaggerated.

With that said, it's hilarious that, once again he gets a setback and proceeds to make things worse for himself. All he needed to do was contact Atlus and Youtube and calmly explain that he did his best to not breach any of their guidelines and apologise if whatever he did ended up breaking them anyway. Instead he has to release this panicked video calling out Atlus and discussing the ins and outs of every possible solution to the problem to the internet. Phil just does not comprehend that sometimes you have to be nice and humble to get what you want.

I wonder what Leanna thinks about yet another issue that could be 'about to end his serious adult business,' now she's out off the house

It is definetly hyperbole but it is pretty amazing this is all happening in rapid sucession. He does make too much money on Twitch and Paetron that he doesn't need to care too much about this.
But at the same time this is a big nick for him and I personally think that the "end of DSP" is gonna be mental, not financial. Machinma, Leanna leaving him, Atlus fucking him over is all causing stress, plus the isolation, plus his poor diet and health, with no excercise, is gonna make him fucked up at the end of this, if he doesn't get a heart attack due to his blood pressure first.

Yeah he's 'going' to be okay 'til August as he claimed from the revenue Twitch brought him but...

If the strike will stay and that's a high possibility as others have reported, too then be damn sure Detractors will do their fair share of work to "let Curse know of changes happening regarding their contracted partners".

Also his mindset and paranoia will further increase because he won't be sure if and when Curse's gonna drop him and blame it to the Detractors who made Curse aware.

But he told them beforehand that he got a strike so GG Phil

Persona 5 playthrough is now dead, with them copyright striking him. He may suffer several other penalties to his YT channel, but his MCN may protect him.

Edit: Added more tweets

At least 325 videos of Persona 5? I love the game, but fuck that noise.
Also, someone at Atlus has got to be a Phil troll. First that "charm salt" tweet and now a manual flag.

If it sticks, in theory, detractors does not have to do anything. From the Curse site:

Is this similar to how Flustered "4 Hours" Fernando Angry Joe got into trouble with Nintendo over his Mario Party Wii U playthrough?

Still, DSP is taking one step further compared with Pissed Off Picardo and would love to see how this goes.

I've noticed in the last week or so that TONS of the Persona 5 OST 'videos' on YT have been taken down via copyright claims, videos that had been up for months and months. (Great OST btw) I haven't watched any of his PT besides a couple mins on Twitch a while back, but because of his raw unedited khantent *snort* laziness that could possibly be why he got hit with a strike. Though I doubt that since the OST would literally be prevalent in every video.
