For me personally, I think its more the behavior rather than the specific look. People acting like cartoon/anime characters in real life has always been incredibly cringy, cartoons often exaggerate expressions and gestures for comedic or emotional effect, but its unnatural on actual human faces. Now that I think of it, its the filters too. Those can distort facial proprtions in the slightest ways so your brain doesn't automatically think "this is fake" but rather you get the "something's not right here.." uncanny valley feeling.
