Alex needs to accept one of two things when it comes to "realism".

1. He either has to just give up, make clear he doesn't care of it's realistic so long as it's fun, and stick with that.

2. He otherwise has to restructure the game with realism in mind, and there is no way he's gonna do that cause it involves work and actual logic.

He's currently trying and failing to go both routes at the same time, and that way lies idiocy.

He wants to make a game featuring anime cliche but he has these autistic explanation for everything, trying to make them deeper than they actually are.

I guess Alex never heard the phrase having your cake and eating it too during his homeschooling.

Hello everyone, obligatory been lurking here for a while, and finally decided to make an account. I'm gonna figure out that not a lot of people here will be interested on my colorful backstory on how did I come here, but I'll lay it out and get it off of my system anyway.

Long story short, I was a former monthly patreon supporter of YandereDev, since October of last year. Found this game through some Youtube videos and immediately I got interested on the game. I was bit skeptical at first, but the game and the concept looks promising, even if it's still in its early stage. I soon found out about the developer Yanderedev, found the game development blog, and soon I found that he has a Patreon dedicated to the game. Right after that, I started donating to him monthly. Maybe around $20-$50ish? Not painfully small, but not high enough to be featured in the sponsors page.

A few months after, I found myself stumbling onto this thread. My first impression about this place was it's just another one of those hate den websites for trolls and haters. Boy, was I 90% wrong. I soon found out about how horrible Yanderedev's past and present acts are, and how much of a creep he is. At first, I kept my positive side in check, and expected all of the info here are fake/from his past, and I expected him to change.

I sooner came to realize that for a grown man like him, judging from his posts, he sure acts like a whiny child. I silently pulled myself back from the community, stopped donating to him, and started coming here more often.

Thanks for sharing. It's interesting when someone shows up here who once supported Eva on Patreon. It goes to show just how incompetent/rude/deceitful the guy is in order to drive away even some of his most supportive fans.

The problem here is that he's made it so that Yan-kun specifically will "only want a female senpai" because Alex "can't see him doing anything but monopolizing his woman" but really, Alex just doesn't want Yan-kun/Alex I mean Senpai ships because that's gAY. That's also why there's a noticeable lack of gay male students, but Female Senpai can be Lesbian, Yan-chan will be lesbian, and by default, the rivals will be bisexual if Female Senpai is chosen.

Yup that idea was really cool too but sadly, he wants to add cliche Hallucinations that have nothing to do with the plot what so ever and so insistent on that boring plot of whats-her-face under the cherry blossom tree. Ripping off Undertale in the process.

That's the point,the reason why he wants to add female senpai in the first place because he wants to fulfill his yuri fetish.And people started asking him to add Yan-kun and his reasoning is implementing Yan-kun requires more animations,voiced lines,etc while Female Senpai doesn't need that much efforts?If female senpai is the only ome that implemented that's just ludicrous.If adding female senpai has a risk that people might ask to add Yan-kun (and start calling him homophobic for declining) my suggestion is he shouldn't implement female senpai in the first place (it doesn't change shit).

That's what he thought he was going to try to pull with TinyBuild. Until TinyBuild said "What? I don't know what you're talking about".
Unfortunately for him, there aren't really any original or unique concepts in the game. So pretty much anyone, is free to race against YanDev to produce a yandere game (and people are doing so). Hell, TinyBuild could even drop him and start making their own kind of yandere game, if they really wanted to. So as long as they don't copy the characters or the game exactly.
