Why not set size limits on avatars and banners? You could even make it so donors can have bigger file sizes.

I already try to remove embedded images/videos/links when quoting posts. Is there anything else users can do to make this less of a problem for you?

Use EZgif to convert your gif to webp first, then upload it, that fixed it for me.

Thanks for explaining the break. My point I was getting at was it was happening to shit I was trying to send through that was 1mb as well and it got to the point I was throwing shit at the wall to see what stuck. Oddly the one that was big went through but didn't embed but small ones didn't and just deleted.

EDIT: Looking at the files I was trying to send through of varying compression some of the "oops!" ones were 725 KB levels in some cases. Those are still giving the error.

Quoting again because this didn't help it literally is just auto-removing shit no matter the file size if the frames are above like 10. The only file that successfully goes through without going "whoops!" is literally the shitty broken big fuck you 28mb tier shit and it's pissing me off.

Please note I DID get an even more compressed one of the "better" output from the webp thing, it just doesn't fucking load or send.

It makes 0 sense to have the fucking massive one load in but then the 2mb or lower one go "WHOOPS! WE RAN INTO SOME PROBLEMS!"

Thanks for the reply and the URL. This confirms another suspicion that I had previously had, namely that I don't have invitation privileges for some reason, as I couldn't ever find the page to create invitations.

Anyway, Null already mentioned he fixed something earlier today. To elaborate a bit: The input field asking for an invitation code wasn't present in the registration form and only after clicking "Register", you'd get a little modal that popped up, asking you to enter a code - which you couldn't do anyway because the modal didn't contain an input field.

Regarding your offer, I think I'd rather wait until registrations reopen as I've decided that for OPSEC reasons, I don't want there to be any links between any of my friends in real life and myself on here. My friend will simply have to wait for the next open registration window. I do appreciate the offer of you sending me a code though. Thank you!

I kind of have a personally invested interest in this shit not being broken because I've been trying to get time/energy to finish making a pfp in this "drawing put through a image-to-video-to-gif process" style fake vtuber joke pfp for 2 people that asked for it when I said I was willing to try doing it for others around new years. Stupid fucking shit I know but I really don't like letting others down constantly for reasons beyond my personal control.

EDIT: Because I am insane I managed to compress the webp version of the pfp down to 483 KB and it's still giving the error

It's not about quantity, it's about making shit. I'm glad they're having fun making those but I haven't even finished the things that are the main projects I've been working on pfp wise the last month. Shouldnt have taken this long but shit happens.
 
I have had repeated issues with image loading in my OP,

due to this I cannot see the thumbnails of newly added pictures preventing me from working properly on it. Also this occassionally happens with pages that aren't the thread creator.

I think @Cheesy Beavy 's posts in the waifushak DMs are raping my Brave browser for real. The page starts flashing white and my GPU temps shoot up 10-12C.

But it's not as bad as The Beave's actual posts in the DMs thread. There it's just constant 54C hell.

Report: When uploading an image via copy & paste, the upload hangs at 100%, is greyed out and not auto thumbnailed, forcing me to refresh the page for productivity again.
