What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

The creators of the Gregorian calendar used it, and so will I, despite being an atheist.
Or ask yourself, what defines the common era, if not the beliefs of the giants on whose shoulders we stand?
The Gregorian calendar was based on the Julian reform in turn. Are you going to start celebrating Saturnalia as well?

They didn't just take the Julian calendar and put the 0 elsewhere to spite the pagans.
The Gregorian calendar is far more accurate and for good reason the gold standard which even Protestant Europe begrudgingly adopted.

Are you going to start celebrating Saturnalia as well?
No, but I will continue calling every sixth day a week Saturday, despite not being a Mediterranean pagan,
The same with Thursday/Donnerstag in regard to northern paganism.
You get the gist.

"Far more accurate", it just dropped the leap day every 100 years except if it is divisible by 400, and refactored the date to align more with the seasons. The Julian reform was more radical and significant, removing intercalary days, standardizing the length of a legal year, and adding the leap day itself.

Strictly speaking, Germanic languages are unique in that regard because most European languages DIDN'T retain all the old Roman-influenced day names. Saturday is Sabbath, Sunday is Lord's day in Romance languages. Also, strictly speaking, Sunday is the first day of the week, so Saturday is the 7th.

And yet, almost all countries in existence adopted the Gregorian calendar.
Even the Orthodox Church partly revised the Julian calendar to be more in line with the Gregorian.

The issue isn't with the calendar, but the way the year is denoted. No one is rejecting the Gregorian calendar as a matter of principle, ffs communist China, the Islamic Saudi Arabia and then hyper secular Turkey all use it (Turkey even adopted Common Era as the official Parlance when it did adopt the Gregorian calendar). Some people simply didn't like the idea of including a profession of faith in academic correspondence as a matter of necessity. I don't give a shit which one you use; you are entitled to put whatever two letters after a year your heart desires, if you even actually do it. Most people don't even bother to include AD or CE because there is no need to delineate in common parlance, and using CE or AD isn't going to confuse anyone.

I subbed to Kim Justice until the reveal. Holy shit. I thought it was some kind of joke at first.
Kimbal is the only tranny i tolerate because he doesn't sound any different than before (so, still like a spastic with a speech impediment) trooning and he does not stick his face into his regular content. I like to watch obscure vidya content on YT and his videos often fit that bill. I did laugh heartily when i saw him in some second channel video where he showed himself post-trooning, though.
Also I saw he had planned a co-op with "super eypatch wolf"
Blownapart has been unwatchable for me for quite some time despite liking lots of his older content, collabing with a homo like SEW puts him in complete faggot territory for me.

Similar to pronouns or troon flag in bio, I've found that clicking a channel, the more links section at the top, and seeing if they have a bluesky is a pretty good indicator it's time to get out. On some devices I've been signed out and the default feeds are horrific in terms of promoting reaction videos, "media literacy" or "the problem with" videos. If I see something new and it starts to veer in that territory, I make sure to keep the feed tab open, hit don't recommend channel, then block it with an extension, then go into history and remove it from the watch history. It may seem overkill but I'm rarely getting any AI slop, troon thumbnails, or clickbait.

I recently started, and stopped, watching Les Stroud's(Survivor Man) youtube channel. Nigger is loaded, and all things considered what he does is pretty low budget, yet he cannot go more than 5 minutes without hawking some generic shit or asking for support for some project or another. I just wanted to watch a guy camp in BFE Romania and talk about big foot. Not pledge my support to the "sound of basket weaving musical" sponsored by Dick Dicksons pocket knives or whatever the fuck. Canadian goon.

Shilling anything on YouTube or in a podcast is automatically cringe to me.

I started watching this channel as background noise when there wasn't anything else to watch. Found it because they did work on one of Hubnut's terrible shitboxes. Stopped watching this vid and won't watch any other when he started on a TDS rant. Dawg you're a chain-smoking brit working on shitty old diesels. Nobody gives a shit about your take on trump.

Timestamp for when he does it?

So, back in the day, game reviewer Yahtzee used to have a sometimes co-host named Gabe. Gabe was an interesting fellow who kept Yahtzee from getting too up his own ass, as he was wont to do. Well, when they broke up, Gabe started a channel and some podcasts with another fellow. They made some interesting content (particularly around an obscure Australian not-Eerie Indiana show). About 3 years ago, during a video on Vampire Survivors, I think it might have been, the cohost starts making some odd comments about how their side channels are going to change. He says something along the lines of, "I'll just keep being that guy who was your cohost. I'm an actor. I can play that character." Of course, he means to say that he's right then and there in the process of trooning. Yup. Just checked and the channel's still going today, and now the guy in a shitty dye job haircut appears to be wearing dog ears (?) next to Gabe, looking like a bearded brick as always.
Ten thousand years ago I actually really liked Keep et Classy. Aaron and Gabe were fun together, it was chill, and really just a nice time. I fell off because Aaron started to get political and not like in a funny way but in an actually angry way and it just wasn’t fun anymore.
Years later I looked back at the channel on a whim, and he fucking trooned out. It actually made me sad, he was a good guy but fell down a sad and angry path probably because of issues with his daughter and being an isolated cripple with totally fucked-up disks on the dole.

I was subscribed to Man Carrying Thing for a couple years because I liked his short skits and his book video essays. A few months ago he had a longer video that essentially said he didn’t like it when people described things as “Reddit,” but rather than having some interesting take on why, he just concluded that it was a meaningless term. But describing something as “Reddit” absolutely has a meaning and a generally clear one at that, so all I could reasonably conclude from his video was that he took offense to it. And now for the past few months every short video is just about Orange Man or other political events starring one or two characters talking about how jaded they are, and it’s boring. He’s become fully Reddit.

When I'm hanging out with friends, they'll put on various channels as background noise. And they had a couple channels that I never really cared for in the first place that they loved until certain things happened:

JAIDENANIMATIONS - I found her to be overly-dramatic, kinda boring, and insincere. Relatability-bait.

But my friends thought she was a wholesome, heckin' cute needy girl. Until her "Being not straight" video.

They watched it in silence until about halfway through, one friends finally said "She says she's Ace. But she keeps talking about wanting to date, that intimacy wouldn't be off thr table for the right person, and that she's bad at dating. That's not Ace. That's being a fucking FemCel!

And you can tell that all the relationships she's talking about are guys, so she's a STRAIGHT FEMCEL!"

And another followed up with "Yeah, I'm starting to get the vibe that she's just undateable and it sounds like she got rejected or dumped and just never got over it. So now she makes this clickbait video thats gonna make simps try to start weird parasocial shit with her. No thanks"

They watched a few videos after that, but they were all her acting like a pick-me-girl, getting into male-dominated stuff like Nuzlocks and Kaizo Mario for attention and they quickly lost interest.

JACKSFILMS - I hated this smug asshole, but they thought he was hilarious. But it was fine because I could tune out the bad jokes, laugh at the few funny ones, and be amused watching as, over time, this mostly-normal-looking guy started losing his hair, getting more pale/unhealthy-looking, and generally morphing into a real-life Soyjack.

Then he got into a beef with SSSniperwolf. It wasn't funny or entertaining, he seemed to genuinely have an unhealthy amount of anger towards her, and was incapable of letting it go.

It seemed to actually cause some sort of mental illness to manifest in him. He became obsessed with her and content about her basically took over his channel. They quickly lost all interest.

LEGALEAGLE - I despised this smug fucker, but my friends thought he was super smart and liked his legal takes

Then TDS hit and almost every video was Just clickbait about how Trump, Republicans, or "MAGA" had either 'gone too far! or how they were '100% finished, for real this time!'

It culminated in his video about the exceptional individual that got shot by ICE, where he fake cries and even goes outside in the cold to make his face look redder and his eyes water more.

It was pathetic and they finally noped out.
