Dobby tries to virtue signal about "sexism" again.

Also, he's about five years too late on the joke. People much more talented then him have pointed this out in a much less "UGH! Stupid men!" way. Why do you think "Became I'm Batman!" is a thing?

The guy whose comics featured a skinny version of himself defeating obvious strawmen, has a self insert blue bear that exists to call everyone who disagrees wish him a bigot and only draws with fulfillment lesbian fanart lectures us about Mary sues.

Dobson has never read a Batman comic in his life, or he'd discover that Batman is pretty much a hollow, broken shell of a dude whose only motivation in life is taking down the same kinds of petty criminals that orphaned him, and that almost every single villain in Batman's rogue's gallery is, either directly or indirectly, somebody that he created.

At least he's drawing again?
Batman's a lot of contradictory things in Dobson's head. He also considers Bruce to be an edgelord character despite loving the DCAU version who becomes a bitter old broken man with no friends or family to speak of. Somehow comic Batman trying to make the most with what he has is "edgy" compared to that. Either Dobson thinks every other Batman is Frank Miller's or trying to do good for your children and acknowledging the people who want to help you even if you don't want it is edgy now.

Batman is only mildly sue-ish depending on the person writing him. But even that is stretching when you actually research the psychology behind the character. Whatever Batman's faults, he at least is an iconic character that will remain relevant until the world explodes. Which is more than I can say for ANY of Dobson's "original creations".

A whole bunch of sucking up.

A character can go through physical challenges with ease, and not be a Mary Sue. Batman trained for years, so it makes sense that the only people that can physically oppose him are using a gun or supernatural. The challenges Batman faces tend to be more internal and psychological, as he confronts his fears, his failings, his own insanity, etc. It doesn't matter what the character faces, only that the character struggles, suffers setbacks, and eventually grows.

Y'know, there's this webcomic with a blue bear who has big, disembodied eyebrows and wears a fedora that's an obvious Mary Sue self-insert against strawmen he disagrees with. I'm just blanking on the name. I think it's called Hey...I'm an Animator?

It's amazing to me that Dobson is always stupid about every single thing he does. You'd think that just by pure chance he'd make a good point once in a while, but he manages to pick the dumbest position possible in every single area he's in. While looking for an example of a Mary Sue in DC comics, he manages to look past the character that everyone complains is boring and too strong: Superman, and instead chooses the character basically built on character flaws.

That wouldn't help show he knows what he's talking about. Superman being boring and too strong is a meme from people who haven't read Superman comics where most of his foes are as powerful as him or stronger. The movies don't help by spreading this inaccurate "Space Moses/Jesus" characterization but Clark's struggles are based around being an average guy who tries to live up to "Superman" even if he knows it's impossible for him to fix all the world's troubles. He still thinks like a regular person even if he's figuratively carrying the world on his shoulders. You can't punch every problem away.

Basically if you think Superman is boring than you probably know him from some hack's work.

The way Dobson sees things, if you're not a spineless beta that blindly agrees with "important" internet women (and transtrenders), you're a toxic cishet dudebro. And Batman? The ultimate toxic cishet dudebro.
