The mindfuck is this will not lead to any kind of backlash in fact his Patreon will go up.
I can give you a reason for that:
"Omg, Phil is raging again, so funneh, better pledge to his patreon so this trainwreck won't end xxxdddd".
Aka, the ironic viewer. But anyway, even if it looks like he might be losing his mind, he'll by some strange luck manage to get some new daughter under his wings and all the raging ends and he turns back to his smug self. Best thing atm would be if he got as little money as possible while this 'rage saga' is going on so it would be even more delicious, but obviously some people don't see why "broke, paranoid and raging Phil" is better than "wealthy and raging Phil".

Like how he's complaining about his voice hurting and how he can't "physically read" the dialogue in Daigablangadingdong 2 while whining about his "detractors".

Also, you could just... NOT read the dialogue. You could just comment on the story, you can give your own input on the game.

And dat projection holy shit.

The part in GTA: Vice City Stories where Phil tries and fails to get a motorcycle is far and away my favorite DSP moment (Timestamped):
Omg that part, that's a classic right there. How the hell did I forget to include that gem of a moment?

Here's another moment that I forgot to include:

He doesnt need a vacation his whole fucking life is a staycation he needs reality.
A thought provoking proposition - exactly what it would take for Phil to turn his perspective around and for him to say, "It was me. I own all of what's happened to my career and life."
Having no friends didn't do it. No love life, either...nor the loss of family support system, personal integrity, respect of his peers, the reputation his name carries.
No, the only thing that will cause DSP to grasp reality is the loss of what he worships most: all his money and possessions. He will accomplish this feat himself in time.
But not for awhile yet. There is still plenty of salt left in his tank, and idiots who pay him to spit in their face.

My worst DSP moment was in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas where he used L3 to get Ryder to throw an explosive box. He backed up the truck, hit L3 and killed Ryder, blaming the game when he brought it on himself. That and his Vice City "playthrough" were embarrassing to watch.

People should start telling him he is a femdom. Because honestly, he is and his fans have stockholm syndrome.

Aka, the ironic viewer.

I think Phil legitimately has fans right now, and the only explanation I can come up with is that they must be so unimaginably bad at the video games that Phil's streams seem like decent playthroughs and insightful assessments of titles they would seriously struggle with. Nothing else makes sense to me.

exactly what it would take for Phil to turn his perspective around and for him to say, "It was me. I own all of what's happened to my career and life."

Honestly I think he's too far gone. he's getting older and more set in his ways, and his isolation is accelerating that process. I think DSP's lifestyle could break, but the attitude that he's the best and deserves everything and more never will. You know how some homeless people meekly hold up a sign and a cup, passively asking you for help, and some stumble at you in a fast food parking lot and say "Give me some money, you're going to get food so I know you've got some money, I need it more than you."? This is where the second kind of homeless person comes from.

Wow, listening to his old playthroughs is actually kind of surreal considering how hateful and mean spirited he's turned. Yeah he was always a bitter dim-witted asshole, but even just a few years ago his voice had this tinge of optimism, his attitude had a sliver of hopefulness, he almost sounded like playing a video game might be a tiny bit enjoyable for him. His attitude seemed so caustic the first time you heard him, but there was this softness to his demeanor that you didn't even notice was there until it went away. You can only tell what's missing because it's gone.
Watch that video and then re-watch the video of him shouting "Fuck you nintendo, fuck your game nintendo" after he wins and beats the boss he was struggling with, and it's like you can hear the last of his inner child suffocating under all of his hate.

I'd feel bad for him, but it's DSP so lol.

Earlier in the thread, @CartmanKusanagi mentioned him driving a cement truck into a hole during San Andreas, and I've been dying to find that clip ever since.

Or that mission when you raid a baller crackden with Ryder and he wants you to grab a baseball bat before you go and he can't find it and starts bitching.

Or that other mission with Ryder where you raid a military wharehouse and while you use a forklift Ryder keeps lookout. Phil keeps failing because Ryder can't handle it all by himself. Failing over and over. It's the first part of the mission where you throw boxes at the heat.

And the nonstop bitching about all of the trilogy's soundtracks. Sorry it's no radiohead but you have fuck all for taste in music.

At the end of this USF2 fight when DSP is screaming and flipping off the camera, he sounds like Mel Gibson a couple of years ago when his wife recorded his raging phone calls. Phil yells and acts like an old man with dementia or a fucking mean ass drunk.
He'll be the most unpopular and untrustworthy bum in the homeless shelter, I'm calling that right now.

What the fuck... I had to make an account just to share this screen shot of his most recent youtube video. I mean... I'm just in shock... these are how delusional his fans really are??

If I'm not mistaken the age of 13 is when kids are legally allowed to start working a job; at least in the U.S. There's exceptions, but I think that's the general standard. Going by that screenshot, that's some 12 year old kid watching Phil and wanting to give him money.

So there you have it, Phil's fans really are actual children just like everyone's speculated. That kid probably watched Phil's jerkoff video, and watches him and hears all the awful shit Phil says on a daily basis. This 35 year old man is relying on the paychecks of fucking children or their parents to get through in life and pay his bills (in addition to his own father's money that he likely gets).

That is so profoundly pathetic.
