I can see the validity in this stance. However, I don't believe the original Fallout is a good example. I admit that I didn't play much of it (but at least I don't pretend to be a hardcore fan of the franchise), but I don't remember there was anything that reflects Tim Cain's homosexuality.

This falls into the same trap that Coby is in. Fallout is a loose idea of what the 1950s envisioned the future would be like aesthetically. All of the social issues of that era are gone, outside of the anti-communist paranoia.

Though this brings up another area of analysis that Coby just does not understand. What the hell does he mean by Marxism? Does he mean the show talking about economic class distinctions? Because the Fallout TV show somewhat addresses that, but in no way is it promoting Marxism or any class revolution. A Marxist analysis would claim the show to be liberal propaganda, as it props up the NCR as the ideal. We know from the games that the NCR is controlled by oligarchic interests and is a colonial force set on acquiring resources and wealth from its conquests.

We've all fallen into the trap of thinking the inclusion of trans and black characters equals communism, mostly because the braindead writers that include such characters as mere tokens claim to be communists. Coby will just refuse to read even the Wikipedia summary of analytical theory and stay in that trap.
 
He spends so much time ragging on reviewers, but when you recommend a game he goes "I heard that wasn't good" and pulls up Metacritic. His views on the PSP are insane and whenever he tries an old game he quits after an hour and cries nostalgia. His actual opinions and taste in games is so bad you HAVE to focus on his political sperging. At this point his only value is being an extremely volatile ragepig.

Logically it can be assumed that social issues of the 1950s were solved by 2060s in the universe. But the games didn't need to show any interracial couples to get that idea through. In fact whatever issues the world had and solved before the war were completely irrelevant as that was never the focus of Fallout.

I have my issues with the show but a racemixing agenda is not one of them. It is abundantly clear that the interracial couple was included to check Prime's Mandatory Diversity boxes and nothing more. Fallout is not in any way, shape, or form, video game or movie, making any sort of commentary on the social issues of the 1950s. At all. It's taking the doomsday predictions of the 50s and cranking them up to the point that it's no longer sci-fi but pure fantasy. Getting upset over this aspect is quite literally identity politics and is a great example of how low IQ Synth is.

If anything people should be annoyed at the Brotherhood of Steel having a female-to-male tranny in their ranks. But the tranny is such a minor character that I guess people don't really care.

He's kind of schizo. I don't really watch his content, but I did pop into one of his livestreams. He was talking about funny TV shows, and heard Always Sunny was good. I commented (in a sea of his livestream commenters mind you) that if he watches it, he should check out the earlier seasons because it falls off in the later seasons.

For some reason, he got extremely agitated by my comment, singled me out, "Oh, it's one of YOU people again. I always get these asshats in my chat", and then blocked me.

It was pretty funny to me because my brother was watching and we were equally surprised how he emotionally sperged out over someone voicing the sentiment that a show was funnier "back in the day". He hasn't even watched the show, so I'm not sure why he was invested. Apparently anyone who voices a unique opinion that doesn't line up 100% with his (even if he shouldn't even have one) gets categorized into his "they're my enemy and must be destroyed" group.

I mean, I get that social media streamers have the ability to curate their audience, but Jesus Christ, he's thinner skinned than Mike Matei. Dumber, too.

Character like Veronica or Old World Blue DLC represent the inner reddit tendency of FNV. But good things is that pretty much all the main quest characters are written competently. Now days every "comedy writings" in games are like Borderland.

I personally hated this cameo, because:

1) Fisto's physical appearance is all wrong - he has no visible "blue collar" around his neck, which was a defining feature for his model. This is a just a regular protectron model;

2) His voiceline isn't one of the iconic ones. He just says "Fully Integrated Security Technetronic Officer active and reporting for duty.", which is his first response to being activated in-game, but 99% of players don't remember THIS. Everybody remembers him from: "Please assume the position.", "Numbness will subside in several minutes." phrases. I guarantee you, everybody understood that it was FISTO, only because the chickenfucker wanted to fuck it.
So it feels, to me, like the writers went: "Hey John, any other memberberries we can throw in this scene rn?? Oh yeah, some robot? Drop it in, whatever, check the wiki for whatever he says."

3) 0 explanations as to why he's here and what happened to him over the years. Just a come-and-gone memberberry for redditards.
IF this is the NEW Fisto (as in a new protectron that the chickenfucker installed the FISTO program into) - where's the explanation to that? How did he do that? Where did he get the holotape for it? No answers.
