I wonder what glow-in-the-dark tech this is?

I am really curious what was the logic of ignoring Iranian protests that happened just a month ago, leaving the insurgents to get killed by Iranian police after Trump declared that " killing in Iran is stopping -- it's stopped -- it's stopping. [...] And there's no plan for executions, or an execution, or executions -- so I've been told that on good authority."

...But now he hopes that the people will rise up against the machine right as US is about to join in the bombing of their cities lol. Anyone willing to overthrow the Islamic Government is probably long dead by now. The entire foreign policy of US on this matter is comically inept and indecisive.
Yeah the US Air Force should have used their Stargates to transport all those bombs and jets instantaneously.

No amount of missiles will ever topple a regime. If they were able to kill the Ayatollah, they'd do it first and announce it after. Without boots on the ground this is all just a waste of time, and Trump will never put boots on the ground. What, do they think a native insurgency is going to spring up out of the ground due to vague promises of US support that the democrats will backpedal on as soon as they're back in power to appease college educated white women?

They're gonna blow a bunch of shit up, assassinate a bunch of people who don't matter and therefore aren't in the Ayatollah bunker, and then suck themselves off about what a great job they did and how few American lives they lost doing it. Completely empty theater, Latin American oligarchy shit. If Iran has a revolution it won't be from this attack, it would be inevitable with or without it. More likely the Ayatollah will die of old age soon and we'll have a soviet style thaw for a decade until the people get complacent again and another strongman grabs the reins.

What does alliance with America even offer the Iranian people? They're still middle Eastern peasants living in a feudal Islamic shithole. There's no class of upwardly mobile business owners looking to change any of that. At least as Islamic fundamentalists they can fool themselves into thinking they live in squalor out of pride rather than incompetence. Take that away and they're nothing, India but poorer and with less rain.

Why? Do you think the US will get directly involved in a war with a nuclear power? Do you think China will say "well, the US invaded and overthrew all our allies, might as well give up now"? What's the reasoning here?
America having to simultaneously fight a combined Russian/Chinese/Iranian axis in three distinct theaters of war across the planet in Europe AND the middle east AND the pacific AND provide the logistics needed to do this all more-or-less on our own means dividing our forces and resources, which makes a successful takeover of Taiwan more likely for China. Without those additional theaters of war however America will be free to concentrate all available strength on crushing our peer rival which is obviously NOT to China's advantage.

Everyone involved in serious strategic decision making implicitly understands this.

Actually you know what, fuck that, even gangster brutes on the street understand this concept when they team up to jump the burly nigger who disrespekt'd them.

The insurgency is happening since the beginning of the year. You're late.

You don't know anything about Iran. They were in par with the Western world before the Islamic Revolution, and they want to become that again.
