Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

I think you're not answering my main point, which is why would China not invade Taiwan if it has very little to lose?
China has everything to lose which is what makes the Taiwan invasion such a gamble, which is why China would need every advantage they can get if they pull the trigger.

Every advantage we deny them in a hypothetical war for Taiwan is another reason against invasion.

They have everything to lose but they're currently dying by a thousand cuts, including a slowing economy, losing geopolitical allies, being strangled for oil, a soon-to-be massive demographic cliff, internal discontent at insane levels... There is a point in which you just go "fuck it", much like Russia did with Ukraine.

There's a lot to unpack here.

TMD!

Although I like that the Iranians fire back. The night footage from Israel the last time was kino. This really needs to escalate.

When Israel started their bombing campaign last time I was worried that Iran was gonna start going after all of their neighbors. I guess the regime didn't think it was all that serious. With how this is cooking off I'm surprised they've seemingly gone after military targets. How long til they start dropping ballistic missiles on oil fields? Either way I don't think the entire Middle East is going to be happy with the US and our Greatest Ally if the cost to infrastructure (oil money) is heavily damaged because Israel couldn't keep it in their pants.

What else can you detact from the fact that they are launching missiles literally 360 degrees, that their leadership is done?

Is Oman literally the only nearby nation where they didn't launch?
