Over on tumblr somebody did a comic (or series of comics) about Janice Raymond dying (she supposedly had cancer at the time, did not die) and being reincarnated as trans (karma bitches!) ... but I think the whole account was eventually deleted. Can't find it now.

That's when I first heard of her and learned how obsessed the trannies are with her. Lots of them claim to have read the evilll book, prob few actually have.

She is like the proto-terf, a scary-legend-figure from their nightmares.

It was not the first time they were 'allowed'. It was the first time there was a federal law prohibiting discrimination by banking institutions against them.

As an aside, having institutional barriers to getting a loan is a real impediment. But credit cards were really only invented in present day form in the 1960s and most households in the 1970s would never have had one.

I know your question was meant to be rhetorical, because you can't just admit that a lot of feminists have been fighting this shit at least since the 1970s, but both me and ms late night muffin were aware of it and read it in the 1980s. Janice Raymond's work was well known and well-received by both men and women who cared about women's rights.

'hon hon hon' joke. My experience of l'humour en France is usually just them saying things more loudly.
