I doubt it. I’m guessing it’ll be more of the same as what happened in the 2010s, but Trump will say he won’t take any in because unlike Europe, there’s no Nazi guilt or imperial guilt to atone for.
Also, it’s Iran and America, who Iran calls “The Great Satan”. Their government has chants and policies literally called “DEATH TO AMERICA”. The Iranian government have been looking for a reason to after the US for who knows how long and now they have it. The only thing that’s changed is that Trump is aligned with Bibi in the sense that the only way to win is to utterly annihilate your opponent and wipe them off the map. Now the question becomes if Iran will also be part of the land development and luxury resorts Trump has for Gaza.

The problem with trying to be “the next Reagan” is that Reagan is basically the end of history. Every Western leader since has paid homage. Privatize everything, cut taxes for the rich, expand prisons, remove the public from policy making.
While I doubt the blackmail operations are a thing, I do think that Bibi is doing himself and his country no favors by being so aggressive with being all “finish the problem” along with Trump’s redevelopment plans coming across as his vanity project. I’d not be surprised to see that Bibi destroyed any sympathy gained from October 7th.
