Despite being sued by Spotify and several record labels, Anna's Archive has silently begun releasing the actual music files from its massive Spotify scrape. The shadow library's backend torrent index now lists dozens of new torrents containing approximately 2.8 million tracks totaling roughly 6 terabytes of audio data. This marks a significant escalation in the already historic standoff with the music industry.
Well now we HAVE to buy Greenland. Gotta protect .glAnna's Archive has begun releasing millions of Spotify music files, despite being sued for $13gorilliontrillion dollars.
On January 29th, the world's most valuable company (archive), Nvidia, filed a motion to dismiss claims that it had contacted Anna's Archive in order to obtain copyright infringing training data for its large language models:
The site has lost a few domains in recent weeks, but is currently accessible on the original annas-archive.li (Liechtenstein) and the newly added annas-archive.gl (Greenland).

Probably because they have strong support there, it will be updated swiftly, a lot of people would check there first, and they won't be censored. Why are they updating the newest site links on fucking wikipedia of all things?
Anna’s Archive lost its .li domain a few hours ago, likely due to legal pressure. The shadow library's domain name was outright deleted instead of suspended. Whether the domain registrar or registry is responsible is unknown, but the latter seems more plausible. For now, Anna's Archive is down to one remaining domain name, the Greenland-based annas-archive.gl.
Now that works, so they have four working domains. Bet on the next to fall.https://annas-archive.pk/ (not working for me)

Anna's Archive is asking for donations. Wonder if that's related to the domains.
thats because to publish something in open access (i.e. for free) you need to pay between a few hundred to a few thousand dollars PER PAPERThey see no money from the journal paywalls and hate them as much as us.
To help train AI models, Meta and other tech companies have downloaded and shared pirated books via BitTorrent from Anna's Archive and other shadow libraries. In an ongoing lawsuit, Meta now argues that uploading pirated books to strangers via BitTorrent qualifies as fair use. The company also stresses that the data helped establish U.S. global leadership in AI.
Not automatically. You could upload directly to Z-Library with a user account, and it might make it over to Anna's Archive whenever they update their database: http://bookszlibb74ugqojhzhg2a63w5i2atv5bqarulgczawnbmsb6s6qead.onion/book-addDoes this include self-published tripe like mine?
It would be nice to have it saved other than on my own computer and the dozens of people who foolishly purchased/picked them up free during an offer.
A coalition of thirteen major publishers, including Penguin Random House, Elsevier, and HarperCollins, filed a new lawsuit against Anna’s Archive. The publishers allege the shadow library is facilitating "staggering" levels of piracy. While the site's owners are not likely to put up a defense, the publishers' main goal appears to be to obtain an injunction that can apply further pressure on domain registrars and registries.
Gettin' reeeeeeally tired of this copyright cartel faggotry. I wish there was something more that could be done about them besides not paying them.
