If someone approached DSP to buy the DSP brand what do you think he would do? Let's say some idiot millionaire offered him 200k. But the deal is he can no longer make videos, would he be able to resist?

He would definitely take this. That's a "winning" way out unlike selling the Seattle house. He hates streaming he just hates showing anything but perfection, life is grand etc even more being NPD and all.

Out of all of Phil's most pathetic moments. And there's a shitload of them of course. This one in particular sticks out. It's not just that he avoids a fight that could be entertaining for his viewers. It's not just the cowardice. It's the autistic clapping and laughing he does as he kills himself to avoid the fight. He really believed that he achieved some sort of grandstanding victory against the dang dirty trolls.

This to me is his most pathetic moment. At least when gaming.

Outside of gaming it's probably the jerk off video.

It's a shame Sebastopol Queen really doesn't do many TIHYDP videos anymore. She always did a good job of capturing DSP's worst moments and interjecting just the right comments onto the screen to fit his failure.
There's some very good creators now, don't get me wrong. But I always appreciate the originators such as her and AJ a little more.

For anyone else wondering like I did: he spends a whole 9 seconds clapping for himself, and a full 20 seconds congratulating himself for just jumping over the edge.

I know, I couldn't believe it was that short either. The cringe factor is so dense it warps time.

It may be a remake, but he's going to finally finish the trilogy of ruining everyone's fond childhood memories of Crash.

i'm always looking forward to him playing a game i know very well because his fuckups are more entertaining since you know what he's doing wrong (although crash 3 is not a complicated game)

I'd probably just watch the highlights on the likes of Snort Burnell where they trim out all the boring filler answers. What I like about SB is that they make his voice a little faster a lot of the time so it doesn't feel like you're being tortured for too long compared to a raw reupload.

That does remind me: next time you watch a DSP Tries It (I love them) slow his voice down to half speed. It's hilarious.

When I was transcribing DSP playthroughs to make word clouds, I wound up playing them back at half speed so I wouldn't miss anything. That's what made me notice that DSP sounds really drunk in almost every playthrough he does, which means he either is constantly wasted, or he's too lazy to properly enunciate.

Also if you really paid attention you'd be surprised at how often DSP says something that's literally not a word.

I barely have the patience to get through one of his videos at normal speed, but that was such a good idea. He sounds like a drunk who's talking down to a bunch of kids about fast food.

Phil makes me laugh this man just refuses to go back to CT, he knows absolutely nobody in Seattle nor will he. Why in the world would he consider getting ANOTHER house there if he couldnt keep the townhome. And no bank would give him another damn mortgage. I mean his brains really are turning to mush. He has a place in CT and at the very least will be near his parents. I dont understand him at all he really is just an immature moron.

I think its like post-trolling Chris: its another effect of being a recluse for months/years on end. The communication skills just take a dive.

I feel where you're coming from but I really don't think that covers the depths of his linguistic problems.

I honestly think that his communication flaws (and therefor all of his character flaws) originate around age 3, where you're really really supposed to learn how to communicate with other children. I think Phil was mostly focused on what words would get him what he wanted from his parents, and that trend continues to this day. He's a child insisting he deserves a bigger allowance, even if the money comes from other children, and nothing more.

Your primary language is not a joke. Children who (for a variety of horrible reasons) never learn a primary language have eventually been proven to be unable to learn any language. Your core communication is not just a series of words, it's how you think and interact with the world around you entirely, and people who get cut down in this area suffer for it their entire lives. The kiwifarm's patient zero, Christian Weston Chandler, says he was locked in a room and didn't speak properly until he was seven (I think)?
They say the difference between children born in poverty and children born into affluence is that poor children hear an average of thirty million words less than wealthy children, and that cycle keeps repeating itself. That's not even bothering to mention speaking in other languages, because children who are raised even just bilingual learn foreign languages much more easily than monolingual children.

I'm going to sound even more like a weirdo sperg if I keep going, but I honestly can't stress this enough. Most of the people we laugh at on this forum have threads because they struggle to communicate, which leads to a struggle to interact, which leads to a struggle to achieve, which leads to being a lolcow. So if you have kids, talk to them, all the time, even in foreign languages. Make sure they hear a lot of varying ideas. Or they might end up repeating "Um, you're morons okay, like wow" on twitch for pennies.

Legit excited for that. I'm already calling bugged bazooka mechanics and shouting "I pressed JUMP!" If were really lucky, he'll attempt to get 100%, and do the relic time trials. He can't even start his stream on time, so I'm imagining his attempts at the time trials going horribly. This playthrough has potential for some great tantrums.
