Just check the bidding history:

The 0 feedback accounts are weens with no intention of paying, the rest are probably real. So there is at least one real person willing to pay $120.
Well, they could be real accounts that just happen to also know of Chris and have no intention of buying :sonichu:.

One of two things would happen:
- Chris pockets hundreds of dollars for doing practically nothing
- Chris gets all  when he finds out the $1.2 million bidding (maybe) turned out to be all fake.

edit: up to $132.50 now

Won't they have to pay anyway, I'm too sure on Ebay rules?

Remember there still a good 6 days left too. I can see the ween bidding it up to $1000
Heh heh, I can see in by the time it goes to that price, Chris is greedily licking his lips, rubbing his hands, thinking hes a genius for coming up with his amazing money-making idea, with no help from trolls. And it'll all come crashing down when he gets nothing

They can not pay, but it'll ruin their feedback score. I doubt anyone would do that unless it was an account newly made just for that purpose.

Actually, now that I think about it, the "endgame" here is probably that these guys withdraw their bids at the last minute (which is legal though frowned upon), the pic ends up selling for only like $25, and Chris is trolled out of ever creating content again. That's EBIN, folks!

No. When Heaton Park was happening and people were putting their Stone Roses tickets on eBay, making the true fans extremely pissed, there were a lot of fake bids, I even put in a bid of £9001 on one lot. I won it in the end for £200 but I refused to pay, as did everyone else who did this (except for the lucky swine that managed to get their tickets for a tenner!) no-one got in trouble.

Given that you have a small group of people, bidding 5 times in a row, it certainly looks like that.

Automatic bids.
