I have never ebayed before. Can someone clarify how it works?

Is the payment made before Chris would send the drawing? If it turns out to be a fake bid, can he try to sell it to the second highest bidder?

That depends on the buyer themselves, the majority of the time the payment would be made before the object is sent off, yes. But y'know, :stupid:

As for fake bids, I'm not sure if Chris can then sell the item onto the second highest bidder.

You normally wait until someone pay for it before sending it and if it turn out to be a fake bid, then Chris would had to relist it again.

I know. They're still bidding the price up remarkably quickly. $200 in under 3 hours seems to imply some sort of meddling.

This is who I imagine is placing "bids."

1: Get infamous.
2: Make stupid doodles.
3: JULAY!
4: Profit.

It seems Chrissy-Poo might have solvet the "????" and finally has something going for him. It just might work. How will he fuck this up? Stay tuned!

My guess is he won't send the pic in a decent enough condition or at all.

Well, that or :ween::julay::julay::ween:

Do you think Chris is planning to run off with the money, without sending?

I can see him pulling that shit.

This here's a story about Chrissy Chan and Barbera
Two sad fuckers with nothin' better to do
Than sit around the house, eat junk, and watch the tube
And here is what happened when they decided to cut loose

They headed down to, ooh, old eBay
That's where they ran into a great big hassle
Chrissy Chan sold a pic to some weeny asshole
Barbera took his money and run

Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run

Clyde Cash is a detective down in Virginia
You know he knows just exactly what the facts is
He ain't gonna let those two escape justice
They make their livin' off of the people's taxes

Barbera, whoa, whoa, she slipped away
Chrissy Chan found her the very next day
He got the money, hey
But he won't survive a day.
They live down south and they won't be running today
Singin' go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run

And the bid just passed $100.

...

The higher the bid, the less likely the bidder will pay up.
A good way to tell if the bid is legitimate or not is to look at the buyers current feedback rating: http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=191198759165&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565

The first couple of bids were made by accounts with a reasonable amount of feedback (One with 111 positive feedback) but the higher you go the more you get new users and people with 0 feedback which likely means it's someone messing with Chris with no intention to buy.

The guy with 111 feedback is trolling hard too. All the bids between $33 and $49 were him driving up the price, then bailing. It might even be Chris himself on a different account.

Just on a whim, I looked up eBay and income taxes, and now I'm curious as to how much art Chris would be able to produce before he would have to legally declare the profit as income. I mean, I know he'd never make that much art or money, but just kinda curious about it.
