Some of their writing choices really make me wonder if they actually want to portray characters accurately.
Anyway, looking at the subreddit again, it seems so many of these new fans of death battle are autistic trannies. Lol, no wonder their fanbase is shrinking.

Not necessarily true. There used to be tons of normal people who liked seeing the stuff. Just look at how much views Death Battle used to get. But because Death Battle catered to the loud minority of powerscalers, people lost interest. There's a reason why Bowser Vs. Eggman got a lot of views, they got MORO to animate it. People didn't really care about the results itself.

Not that many nowadays, just look at how r/deathbattle thinks Dio Vs. Alucard is accurate to how Dio fights.

Well aside from the BS stats they give characters (FTL Dio, Universe level Spongebob), it's the really retarded ways they get the stats. Like the "Kratos hasn't been shown doing it but he can totally do it" or the "Horakty can create a multiverse, ignore that it's just a metaphor according to the director".
