I carry my handgun on the subway when I’m in NYC. Otherwise, Uber. I’ve used Uber to drive me everywhere in the past including to transport guns. It’s how I commuted to university every day.

I had a college professor who once owned a M1919 and he said it was the most fun he ever had shooting. He later sold it to fund an extension on his house.

I think I would go for that and use it to mow down deer. Either that or an MP5 to fill my late 90s Rainbow Six needs.

if you've got fuck you money get one of those flightlite uppers with a quick change barrel. or buy one of those semi-auto M249's and get someone smart to nigger rig a FRT. Or a MG42 kit build with a FRT (it's been done)

It's a pain in the ass but its not hard. lots of class time and tests and you need "good moral character". Looooot easier if you carry a lot of cash for a business or something like that. they like to have a reason that they should deign to let you have a gun.
you're still mega fucked if you have to shoot so it's of dubious worth

NY carry permits are easy to get after Bruen. I kid you not, my investigating officer knew I didn’t even live in the country when I applied. Approved easily, they told me to have fun fucking Japanese women and sent me on my way.

I have another residence in Arizona where I keep the “scary” items, but I know many gun owners in New York don’t follow the Safe Act regardless.

IF you've got unlimited money go drop $500,000 on a nice pair of Boss & Co side lever shotguns. much better investment than most machine guns, and legal in all 50 states and most countries.

is it an NYS permit or an NYC permit? If it's only the state permit a court somewhere is frothing at the mouth to fuck you over.
