I had a history teacher back in high school who would repeatedly go on political spergs, especially about Trump. Made me feel incredibly awkward. I definitely remember him having gripes with something that happened on Twitter. Some sports magazine made a comment about Trump, and he was pissed about a guy who responded with “Stick to sports!” Now I’m here with politics shoved into damn near every fandom and/or every piece of media I like. It’s enough to make me want to crash out if I ever see him again (but I won’t, I know that’d be retarded).

Thankfully, my college is a lot more conservative-leaning or just outright avoid politics altogether, so throughout my time there, I only had maybe like, 2-3 instances of a professor getting political. Even then, it was minimal and wasn't something scrubbed into our face. I'm happy my professors had common sense and learned to keep politics away from places it has no need in. In high school, it was non existent, and I wasn't even into politics prior so I'm glad I was able to learn stuff under my own will and not against it.
I still feel like conservatives are much less likely to throw political banter in your face than left wing ones. Not even the most diehard Trump supporter would want to yammer about him at every place he enters in. But the most diehard leftist will do whatever they can to spread their ideals because they know they're far more likely to get away with doing so.
After all, doing it as a leftist is "educating the masses", but vice versa means "far right indoctrination ritual". Give me a break already. I feel bad for the people who are part of fandoms that are majorly left leaning. Unless you're as lefty as them, I can imagine the amount of eggshell walking those people have to do just so they won't get excommunicated from the fandom entirely for wrong think. Just so crazy how leftists still insist they're the "silenced oppressed ones".

I like how Ukrainians became an oppressed nationality overnight due to the war with Russia even though they’re white and thus would never be included in art like this otherwise. Fluttershy would otherwise have to also be half-Nigerian or something in order to be diverse.
