I've been listening to Tucker's podcast since the war started, and boy is he a disingenuous loon.
The thing about Tucker is he's had an extremely bizarre career. He started as an editor and writer for stuffy conservative publications before his "Bowtie Era". He was essentially a CNN controlled opposition token neocon on Crossfire before Jon Stewart humiliated him so thoroughly the show got cancelled. He served a similar role with MSNBC as a standalone host and slot fodder to create the appearance of balance (back when the illusion mattered) before again being shown the door for low ratings. This was around when he decided to ditch the bowtie.

He started running the Daily Caller and worked his way up at Fox News around then. He took advantage of Obama era dissatisfaction, the Bill O'Reilly vacuum, and Trump's political rise. He hit it huge as a new right MAGA figure, becoming bold and brash, likely sensing which way the wind was blowing and adjusting his politics accordingly. Up until he got ousted, he played this role brilliantly, having been the highest rated news show on television and the gold standard for conservative Boomers as well as a strong following of young new rightwingers.

From the Putin interview to now, I have absolutely no idea what he is doing or what audience he's trying to appeal to. The left has always hated him, and most of the right now hates him. He's alienated everyone. The only thing consistent about Tucker in his career is inconsistency. He plays whichever role and adopts whichever politics he thinks will further his career the most at any given time. He's been a gentlemanly weenie and a bold and brash jerk, the guy was a chameleon playing a character for various networks.

The only thing I can suppose is, he's trying to cultivate a niche with disaffected isolationist right wingers, knowing his network career and the big time is over. This is the first time he's had actual 'free rein' and he's financially set for life, so I'm willing to bet this is the most genuine he's been with regard to his actual political opinions in the decades we've seen of him.

turns out the war isn't actually happening guys

according to some overintellectualized faggot who specializes in english linguistics, this war isn't real because the US government distributes propaganda and in real wars you don't kill their leaders on the first day. He poorly paraphrases Baudrillard's criticism of the gulf war and forgets that the first gulf war didn't have smartphones and OSINT showing everything in real time via the internet

People throughout the middle east are hiding from BMs and Shaheds but that's not real

"intellectuals" are the worst subhumans there are, the most retarded of niggers can acknowledge reality but only these Harvard educated retards can tell me that white is black and mean it
I used to get this guy's videos recommended, he's literally just some retarded sperg with like an 80 iq. His "fun fact" type content was always just waffling about nothing and never reaching an actual point. A random schitzo at a bar is more coherent.

Trump has no way to end the war. Iran is going to keep Hormuz closed indefinitely and keep drone striking the energy infrastructure and no amount of MAGA delusional cope is going to change that. This is exactly why everyone with a brain has been shitting on the idea of war with Iran because there is no simple off ramp. The entire globe is going to eat a shit sandwich from these oil prices and by next year food prices are going to be absolutely insane because 30% of the worlds fertilizer (Urea, Sulfur, Ammonia, and Phosphate minerals) passes through Hormuz as well because they're a product of natural gas or made in petrochemical plants in the gulf because of proximity to the source material. The four top impacted zones are India, Brazil, USA and EU in that order from the fertilizer loss. We do not have the ability to scale up domestic production in the space of mere months, most of our petrochemical plants are close to maximum capacity already so American farmers are going to have miserable, expensive harvests because of the cost of diesel and insane prices of fertilizer.
At the end of the day the world already had a massive shock in 2022/2023 from the war in Ukraine taking much of that grain off-line.
Most people don't understand is the smart players had been planning this in the industry since 2023 when the war in Ukraine wasn't going to end.

Domestic oil and gas production is about to be lit then. Seriously if you live in Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska, north KY/ORV, Louisiana, the dakotas or Alberta or the prairie provinces this war is about to be an economic boon to the various economies and this might actually help Russia out too.

Someone mentioned where are the protests against attacking Iran wait til Cuba drops communism you will see a massive chimp out and that’s next. You will see many on the left explode in real anger at Cuba falling than Muslim threats.
I don't think it will be that simple, but oh man, I think you're right that there would be a massive amount of seething if the communist regime was strongarmed out of power followed by the embargo being lifted from freed Cuba. I can easily imagine Hasan acting out his rage live on stream over such a turn of events.

He's lost my dad, and my dad is pure boomer. Used to listen to Fox, got mad, switched to OANN or some other channel.

But out of nowhere today, literally just sitting on his tailgate watching a storm, he suddenly says, "That Tucker's sure gone off the deep end lately." He used to watch Tucker habitually and loved Candace Owens of all people. He dropped her over the Kirk stuff awhile ago. But Tucker was holding on until now.
My dad also watched Tucker Carlson on Fox News, and from my distant observation and recollection, the slimy way of talking Tucker exhibits now is not something he had back then, including the bizarre, excited laugh that is always remarked on now. I didn't watch Tucker myself, but didn't mind him either. When he got kicked out of Fox News, I asked my dad if he was going to listen to Tucker's new podcast, but my dad couldn't be bothered to follow him to a different media platform. I'm glad he didn't, though I've also never asked him for an update on what he thinks of Tucker. I get the impression a lot of Tucker's clout (or perhaps the illusion of his clout) comes from older folks who remember him fondly on Fox News but don't realize what he has transformed into since then.

What would an actual nuclear armed nation do if it was in Iran's position? At what point are you allowed to respond to non-nuclear bombardment with nuclear hellfire without being the bad guy? I think we are past the point of no return where if Iran had nukes it would have used them right?
That's something that no opposing nation really wants to test and why Iran is being put down now specifically before it has any nukes. One reason why Russia is so difficult to deal with in the 4-year Ukraine War is because it is a nuclear power, limiting the options to hit back on Russian territory to counter the aggression. Remember when the idea was being floated around that Putin could use a tactical nuke? North Korea is also effectively immune to aggression, and we're just lucky that Kim Jong Un seems to lack regional ambition (unlike Iran) and just be content with torturing his people in isolation.

the iranians are using lego AI to explain whats going on

A justified attack on an unreasonable foreign power that wants to sow chaos and destruction in our homeland so another, even more hostile communist dictatorship can usurp us on our own backyard? Another astute take by Tucker Carlson!

Ok, hear me out:

There's also the fact that not only were there no carriers present at Pearl Harbor, but no modern battleships either. The vintage there were all older 14 inch gunned Standards that did not have the range or the speed to charge across the Pacific and fight the IJN.
Not really directed at you but outside of the casualties being higher in the interest of generating greater public outrage, what does Roosevelt knowing about the attacks ahead of time fundamentally change?
Japan still attacked the USA, would fighting their fleet at sea before Pearl Harbor have changed anything?
I don't see how it excuses what Japan did.

We're at that grinding attrition stage in a conflict where it's just a waiting game until Iran loses enough launchers that they can no longer meaningfully fight back. Were it not for the Strait blockage affecting oil prices, most people would likely have already forgotten this was even happening.
Not to mention with Venezuelan oil coming into the american market plus the huge oil find in Guyana that sour crude that needs more refining.
Assuming Venezuela in the next few months allows more american investment and doesn't pull the rug on the US things will probably be okay for most people in north America. Maybe Chinesium becomes expensive but 3d printing helps some of that risk.
I sincerely hope this is the case. Brownoids and wignat anti-zog "resistance" ball washers like thomas777 have severely underestimated the decrepitude and malice in the Iranian state. I've known even traditionalist muslim Persians who seem quite content to be living in a "materialist Jewish playground" as opposed to the demented 7th century larp fair the ayatollah has kept up. The people are running out of water, the economy is dead and there's no excusing it. Sanctions can only do so much damage. Persia should be a rich and vibrant place, no matter the ruling party or ideology, but the irvc would rather play wily coyote games with the jews than do the bare minimum for their civilization. They sit at one of the most important straits in the world for God's sake. They couldn't put their fuck around games to rest for a decade and bide their time for a future conflict? It's pathetic that 90million people are living like mid century warsaw when they have so much to profit by. Ideals and religious war are no excuse. No sage worth his robes in the history of mankind would find the revolutionary regime acceptable if these are its fruits. Jewish subversion didnt miss spend all of the capital in Iran on fucking bunkers and speedboats. What were the kikes gonna do? Invade them? Put pork in the koobideh? Madness. People hate the jews so fucking bad they'd put their hand in a blender just to make Larry David grimace.
I don't like the hardcore zionists but I know enough to know that most of these countires issues are caused by their leadership and their corruption. Again Quatar doesn't spend all of its time seething about jews its moved on and done well.

He has followers? His sole claim to any actual fame was getting publicly raped by Grok-chan.
You think Mohammad would've forbade cousin-fucking if he saw how retarded it would make his modern day followers.
Oh, he did ban incest. But then he got the hots for one of his own cousins and Allah conveniently gave him a revelation that cousin-fucking wasn't actually incest.
He's as obsessed with gallium as I was when I played Warframe.

I imagine it looks something like this.
Bold of you to assume he still has legs.
I think they could find a compromise and turn the Druze and Kurds lose to run wild on Hezbollah.

It can be like North Vietnam after the fall of saigon. Have a deeply divided country? Easy, just go invade another nation (in vietnam's case, cambodia) to give everyone someone to hate.

Real shame North and South didn't get to bury their various hatchets by inserting them into French skulls.

Assembly of the Arab Tribes of Khuzestan pledges allegiance to Pahlavi. If this is authentic, besides being another step toward open rebellion, it's obviously a nice boost to Pahlavi and an inversely bad hit to that Arab secessionist militia from a couple pages ago (since these guys are explicitly only demanding autonomy and language/custom rights, not independence). If/when the green light for armed revolution goes out - hard to say how Khuzestani Arab tribesmen might fare in battle vs. the depleted IRGC and other Islamist forces, but tribes in general (not just in Khuzestan) like to hoard guns regardless of legality and if Syria's any indicator, such tribals tend to be disorganized but suicidally brave fighters with or without literal suicide bombs (over there they bullrushed Druze secessionists with Israeli air support and managed to reverse a near-total victory for the Druze/Jews into one where the latter have had to concede half of Suwayda back to AJ's Damascene government).

In any case, come the rebellion stage, Pahlavi could seriously use as many sand/mountain niggas packing heat as he can possibly get, even if they might be less than conventionally effective rabble (as Arab tribesmen tend to be).

🛑BREAKING🛑
The Assembly of the Arab Tribes of Iranian Khuzestan, a coalition of Arab tribes in southern Iran, has declared that the tribes of Bani Kaab, Bani Tamim, and Bani Lam have pledged their allegiance to the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi under the principles of a united and secular Iran, free from anti-Arab racism and with greater economic and social justice in their province.

Declaration
Assembly of the Arab Tribes of Iranian Khuzestan

"For Iran, for freedom and equality, solidarity"

("Healthy Iran, healthy Zaadi and Barbari Al-Mabastigi")

We, the assembly, descendants of the Arab tribes of Khuzestan (Bani Kaab, Bani Tamim, Bani Lam, and others), with historical awareness of the present moment and looking upon the pure land of Iran, our homeland, and with the presence and religion of our ancestors, declare... our loyalty and commitment to the side of the pure land of Iran.

A national declaration of the Arabs of Iran.

Khuzestan, this large border province, has for years been under the regime of the Islamic Republic, subjected to severe shortages, discrimination, military siege, oppression, and soft control. We see this as the imposition of crises of siege, oppression, and soft control upon us. Among the people of Khuzestan, we see their heart and soul as Ahvaz, Abadan, and other cities, not as the heart and soul of Tehran.

Our goals and principles:

- National goal: We want the complete overthrow of the current Islamic Republic regime and the establishment of a secular government.

We believe that the rights of the global community and nations should be built on foundations of freedom for all peoples and nations.

- National unity and territorial integrity: With absolute certainty, we emphasize the preservation of Iran’s territorial integrity and unity. We see any call for division or separation of Iranian territory as the enemy’s desire to destroy the security, comfort, and aspirations of the Iranian people. Iran is the shared home of all of us.

- Diversity and cultural identity: We guarantee the preservation of the Arabic language, customs, traditions, and culture of our Arab origin. Within the great Iranian culture, we believe and recognize that in Iran, the rights of all ethnicities and languages must be respected as personal rights, and that national unity should be forged through participation in the great Iranian culture.

- Support for the leadership phase: We do not stand alongside other opposition forces in solidarity at this stage of leadership; instead, we see a broad national alliance under the banner of Reza Pahlavi as an effective way to advance the widespread popular uprising and remove this corrupt regime from the scene. We support and defend this for the sake of overcoming this crisis.

- Social and economic justice: For Khuzestan, the residents of Khuzestan must benefit from their underground resources (oil, etc.) through a national management system and unified constitution and laws so that their children can prosper and progress.

We, all the brothers of the Arab people and Iranian ethnic groups, want in this way to stand hand in hand, stand alongside the engineers of tomorrow’s Iran, stand for the reconstruction of Iran.

Long live free and united Iran

There's also the fact that not only were there no carriers present at Pearl Harbor, but no modern battleships either. The vintage there were all older 14 inch gunned Standards that did not have the range or the speed to charge across the Pacific and fight the IJN.
Pearl Harbor and 9/11 were gigantic intelligence failures that required several dozen different warnings from different sources and stations, from every branch to be ignored time and time again until the last hours before they happened.

There's no excuse, there's no level of incompetence on this level that can be justified, thus the conspiracy theories.
The result is the same either way, several thousand dead Americans and a war that lasted years, with America's adversaries (USSR, China falling to communism, in ww2, Iran, Russia, China strengthened, American popularity severely weakened due to Iraq, Afghanistan's 20 year disaster, rise of ISIS and Al Qaeda).
Either it was planned this way from the start, or the American institutions were deliberately sabotaged; warnings casually filed away on desk drawers, people dismissed and fired for warning and trying to bypass the chain of command, because someone looked at the coming storm and thought it was the perfect opportunity to start to sell raincoats.

Trump said the war is almost complete.

Sounds like a pretty big L for America.

Pissed off all the Gulf states and their domestic industry, removed sanctions from Russian oil, lost a bunch of high-tech equipment that will take years to replace, scrambled to take back equipment from Ukraine and South Korea, retreated from Saudi Arabia this morning, solidified IRGC control of Iran + a created a new hardline leader, killed a bunch of Israelis and Americans.
Iran attacked countries who didn't even involve themselves in the affairs like Azerbaijan. If anything this war has really made israel less of a pariah state in the region to to Iranian stupidity.
Again the Iranians attacked neutral and even some of its allies this war.
The winners of the war are Israel here as this is going to push normalization and convince people to say we don't care about Gaza. Meanwhile at home Iranian propaganda and influence networks are pushing disinformation in both left and right wing spheres to cause a revolution in the US.
I doubt there's any active sleeper cells in the US. There might have been back in the 80s and 90s but the ones that have been here since then have probably assimilated or died.
Pretty optimistic but I would say there are far more sleeper cells now then there were in the 1980s.
If anything Iran has been super successful with its soft power campaign. In the 1980s the only people saying Fuck Israel were legit nazis or lefty kooks that would be fired for not towing the liberal line.
If anything Iran If it had slightly better logistics and connections in the US could defintly cause some real terrorism issues within the US. Again i could see the IRG convincing some lefty to join a small Arab cell in north Texas or Socal and do some Charles Manson shit on some mid tier anti iran activist or pro israel person.
