  • Unironically wore a dog collar because it held "dark moon energy".
  • Said on livestream that he had a crush on another speedrunner (without being prompted to do so).
  • Held a stream funeral for Iwata.
  • Had to have his mom break up with his girlfriend for him.
  • Talks about suicide for attention on twitter.
  • Constantly hits up random attractive female streamers/speedrunners hoping they notice him.
Did we just witness a Sperg have a moment of clarity? Is this some sort of facade? Did he really become self-aware over the course of a day?

its the shock collar treatment, with enough bad experiences hes learned to stop and think instead of doing dumb rash shit
on one hand, good for him, always glad to see a person overcome their crippling autism
yet at the same time i like laughing at chibi so him maturing as a person means less comedy

Yeah, I was biting my tongue when everyone in the thread was posting about how he's cured or something. The guy posted about his mom ending his relationship with his girlfriend over the phone directly before PewDiePie weighed in, for fuck's sake. Chibi's video response looked like he was in agony with how hard he had to pretend to be an easy-going, normal dude who doesn't live with his widowed mother.

THIS is exactly what I'm thinking. Like I was friends with Chibi about 4 years ago, he hasn't changed a single bit.

Chibi is at SGDQ right now and, judging from twitter, his mere presence is creating drama. He's already been accused to awkwardly hitting on someone's girlfriend. Is it too much for me to hope he gets on the couch for a run?

True, gone are the days of epic stache preferring certain people to be quiet and knitting girls asking if the run can simply be stopped for her to make an announcement.

Both ADGQ and SDGQ have lost their hilarity since they started getting more business oriented and less "lets get a bunch of awkward people with poor hygiene in a room to play games really fast."

It's good to see that Chibi has become more self reflective recently but fuck me if that memorial stream where he sang wasn't grade A certified organic fried fucking gold. I still watch it to cheer myself up on a blue day.

Reporting from SGDQ: Cheebs is participating in the 70 star SM64 race - has never played the game. While everything's been getting set up, he has been trying tricks(getting some, I'll give him credit) and repeatedly been screeching loudly. He gets louder and louder - multiple people have said they're leaving because of him specifically.

I agree with others and wish he figures shit out but it's not looking good.

Edited for minor typos and to add: I do know who he's staying with as well so we'll see how the rest of the week goes.

He was apparently drunk - doesn't stop the fact that he was annoying everyone. He asked Cheese(sm64 WR holder) for help constantly and Cheese said kindly "you're on your own bud" since this was like his 10th time asking.

Race finished and Chibi was begging(like literally begging) for Cheese to help him. Yeah...

Why did he sign up to speedrun a game he never played? Did he assume it'd be so easy he could compete with guys who knew the game? I mean, I thought SM64 was pretty easy too even when it came out and I was young but I still would recommend at least one 100% playthrough to familiarize yourself and plan out which Stars to go for. But what'd I'd expect from a guy this autistic (that cheated in a speedrun)?

I mean, it's reasonable to pick up a game without having done a 100% playthrough. It's also incredibly normal to learn new games at these events with new friends.

Chibi did it purely for attention - and was screaming and yelling the whole time. He begged people for help because he expects everyone to bend over backwards for him after his 'apology' video. If he had found someone to teach him the full run and he learned and was chill - ya sure. but sitting around and screeching like christ.
