The reason Signalis gets such rimjobs from every horror game essayst is because it's got hecking lesbeninos in it. Gameplay sucks ass and only a yuricuck can get leakage at the sight of tiny pixel monsters doing spooky noises in the dark. It's basically budget Dead Space franchize: lezzie android edition. If it starred a normal guy protag with a doomed romance, bunch of normal non-exaggerated-giant-titty-android space staff characters and no gay shipbait, no one would ever remember it the next week after it came out but it would have been unironically way better as a story this way, shame these devs have no taste in media outside of yuri porn

I love how all the models are Megaman Legends but the environments are Doom 3.
And it's crazy because Yiik's art style is one of the things most people praise becase there's some level of consistency with it but with this game the environments don't match the character designs or colors. There's faux Silent Hill like grundy designs to the environments in the second and third screenshot with cartoony and colorful characters.
Epstein would've loved Signalis.
