and now they attack entire organizations and making them crazy.

Most recent, and what spurned this thread, is CNN losing their shit over a wrestling meme, then threatening to dox a rando if he didn't apologize

Their whole staff is going insane on air, look at Sally Kohn losing her shit over a meme

It's less the "finding out who he is" part so much as the Kind Regards treatment they gave him.

Agreed.

If there was a legitimate legal issue, the proper thing to do would have their legal department send him a C&D letter or some such and make it a dry, if petty, argument for a day in court, and the other person would probably have grumbled and complied, as that kind of thing happens a million times a year in this country when two people who annoy each other find a more-or-less polite way to tell each other to fuck off.

Engaging on a personal level with what could be construed as threats on something that wasn't content you had any legal right to claim is just dumb, short-sighted, arrogant, and a whole bunch of other synonyms to describe the character, as it were, of modern internet-raised "journalists".

I know, but you cannot deny that he's chimping out right now.
Yeah, maybe I am, but I've been here long enough to know that you don't call the kettle black. Like @Null said, CNN is a multi-billion-dollar industry. However, to change the logo to "CNN" and throw a fit over their "perceived" doxing of someone while running a website where doxing is accepted? Fine. Call me whatever, but it's just bullshit.

Obviously I'm feigning outrage you dipshit alcoholic. Why are you drunk at 6pm on a Wednesday?

The difference is I run the Kiwi Farms, a web forum about people on the Internet, and CNN is a multinational transcontinental multi-billion dollar Time Warner company that purports to be about the news, not random people on the Internet.

You're blundering out these bizarre rants about me personally and calling me triggered when I have no idea what the fuck you're on about. I'm highlighting this because it's funny. It's funny that CNN is threatening to dox people. Get some sense of humor or fuck off mate. If fucking Breitbart got into a petty feud with Laci Green and started threatening her I'd be laughing at that too because it's dumb as fuck.

Your random link about NPR is also extremely baffling because I don't see its relation. If you're saying that I can't comment on CNN being full of morons because there are dipshits on Twitter getting mad about NPR celebrating July 4th by reposting the Declaration of Independence, then you are completely shit out of luck because that's not how it works.

I would like to add that unlike CNN us kiwis don't try to take the moral high ground when we dox people.

You know... halal away. I'm an oldfag with nothing to hide, so the thread would be pretty short.
Bro, calm down.
You're getting angry on a site that is literally the offspring of a forum meant to discuss an 30-year-old autistic tranny who drinks his own jizz with Fanta.

The reason this thread exists is because nobody expected CNN to stoop THIS low. Breitbart nor InfoWars are major cable TV news networks. Fox News? Yeah, but they've done pettier shit in the past, this wouldn't beneath them.

CNN however, is in a constant struggle to shake off the "Fake News" label from itself and constantly trips over itself in trying to save its reputation. Most of the normie population in America is okay with them and holds them to the usual (low) standard everyone holds journalism to.

But this? Making a move that's much like what some angsty tweenage faggot on this kind of website would do? No one expected it.

Extorting a private citizen for making a meme that offended their fee fees?

Not normies, not alt-righters, not far-leftists, not conservatives, not liberals, and not even Kiwi Farmers expected it.

If you seriously cannot see the hilarity in the fact that a major news conglomerate is threatening a random fucking citizen, you sir, are :autism: beyond repair.

I'm sorry @Jaimas has been triggered, but I doubt he's read the whole article...

Plus this: http://www.thedailybeast.com/npr-tw...tldr-posts-about-gamergate-are-boring

Cry me a game-toting river. I mean, you're on a site where you want people to laugh at gamergate shit. Deal with it, bitch.

If you have an issue with this, PM me. Otherwise just deal.

Edit: Awwwww, I've been rated dumb. Sorry gamergaters get triggered by this shit.

nah but really jaimas is a cool guy and his longposts are a nice read sometimes

I thought people were poking fun at the fact a news company were acting like a trolling board while purporting to be a bastion of ethics, not throwing a fit.

I'm not conservative, but CNN's behaviour is laughably childish in the context of how they view themselves and how they want others to view them.
