Ben says he's pretty good at Photoshop and tells the twins he made them something.

He's now antagonizing them because he says he used AI to make this, and AI is art! They protest a bit, but he explains that since he assembled it in Photoshop it still counts as art. The twins stumble around it a bit because he "didn't draw anything" but agree that yes, ultimately it counts as art.

Jet over intercom "The carpet has nothing to do with this, please don't rip it up."

Landon yells out the camera "Then give me the proper tools!"
The best part about this was that you could hear in Jet's intercom voice that he was dying of laughter.

Fuck, I haven't laughed this much in months! Thank you, Jet!

It's the thought that counts.

I actually, more or less, agree with this analysis. Pretty fair take.
Yeah, I want to be fair with Sam because I think he's an immensely talented risk-taker. I don't think he's capable of really just grinding out being a show host for a month of intense off-the-cuff production in front of live cameras, it's not in his personality and it's just not his style. He's not a people person, period. That's fine, neither am I. I would be blowing up and crashing out as much he did in that situation.

Bam was also an immensely talented entertainer, but I use the past tense because even after cleaning himself up, a lot of the spark of genius in the 20-something Bam has been lost to decades of drug abuse and dissipation. What's left in old Bam once the drugs are gone is the innate magnetic charm and the cultivated learned skill of working with a cast of people and reading them very well in a professional setting.

Comparing Sam and Bam is apples and oranges. Bam is going to be better at hosting, that's his element. But he's something of a shadow of his old self, an old self that I think most people under 30 watching Fishtank never really saw first hand. Sam can still make great comedy when he's not self-sabotaging like the gorilla nest crash-out, or wandering in the weeds like he's doing with his political podcast currently. But that's just how he works. He's addicted to building up from nothing, then burning bridges and scrambling out from the bottom of the crab bucket again. It's what fuels him. Success makes him uncomfortable and the glad-handing with others that comes from it even more so. Give him laurels and he'll toss them into the fire, and not sit on them. That said, I do think he does need to learn to freely laugh at himself a bit more and not have the incessant need to be the biggest dog in the room because I think learning some honest social give-and-take would better him both as a person and comedian. But removing the mercurial personality and confrontationalism? Nah, that's where a lot of the 10% of comedic greatness comes from. But they're traits not very conducive to being a 24/7 reality show host.

How are we feeling about the first week? I was able to watch all of day 1, missed almost all of day 2 except with Bezo left, missed alot of day 3, 4, 5 and I am trying to pay attention to day 6.

Work has just been kicking my ass lately. Have I missed much? It doesn't really look like I have, honestly.

I'm missing a ton of character development, though. I guess fans like Bashir the muslim now?

Imma be real but Kiwis are being real sheltered when they act like Head is some kind of weirdo when in reality he represents like 80% of forty and older white American males

As a factory worker surrounded with blue collar fat bald types... this is extremely accurate.
