A lot of people who donate don't really have much money, they're just attention starved. Ellohime (I believe it was him) used to get thousands of dollars from this one donator. He just thought the donator was rich, but he was actually struggling financially and couldn't even pay for rent.

I don't know how people can take money from people who donate when they can't afford to. If I streamed and found this out I'd probably have a private talk with the donor and if it was true I'd refund the money back to them. Not Phil, though. Anyone other than him is a second class citizen.

Twith "subscribers" pay 5 dollars a month to the streamer, to donate/for custom emotes and other perks. Resubbing is continuing your sub every month, Twitch even keeps track on how many months you resub for.

Also, although it is something of a moot point now that Phil is living alone but still important since there are neighbors on both sides, a 12-gauge shotgun loaded with 00 buckshot is really nice because then a miss fire will explode the drywall and most likely not penetrate through walls to harm an innocent bystander.

That's a myth. Just like pistol and rifle rounds, heavy shotgun loads will pass through upwards of 4 walls. Birdshot generally stop at the second, but will also penetrate less deeply into a human or animal.

DSP's logic behind his new Patreon goal is so exceedingly dumb that I'm finding myself hoping it fails more than I normally do. He's changing the rules to exclude all long form Japanese centric games, which is spiting the clear majority of people who pledge to his Patreon who enjoy these games, while at the same time he's outright saying those who don't usually pledge are at fault when he has to play Patron's choice games that they end up not enjoying, essentially alienating his fans on both sides of his argument.

Of course no matter what, he'll end up hitting the goal since BSV often just ups his pledge to hit it anyway but his logic is still interesting. Fair enough he's too lazy and greedy to play longer games for his patrons, but he can't even help himself from criticising the people who are on his side for doing that as well.

This whole situation Phil's in with not getting enough views for long, "exhausting" playthroughs with voice acting feels awfully familiar...

Hell, even the "cant stream, plz b generous" does too...

DSPs downward spiral goes back a long way it seems.
