Sorry for being super late, but I just wanna bring up how much I love this weird bringing people to bed bit this season. Drake has tucked the twins in several times. Drunk Landon was dragged to bed and now gets tucked in super special. Idk what to make of it, but it feels very wholesome in a surreal fishtank way ❤️
Also thank you to everyone who's posting updates/screenshots/videos! ❤️Just like S4 I can't no life this season and this time this thread is super helpful again! I didn't hate S4, but it's very obvious that there are so many more users here and on Twitter that a dedicated to give updates again! (I was so lost last season whenever I couldn't watch.)

He more or less said he has an autism diagnosis, so this isn't surprising (diagnostic criteria could be different in the US, but I'm gonna guess an IQ test is part of it). Most aren't savants and he's able to hold an adult job and his social skills aren't that bad, so I wouldn't worry about him. There are a lot of people better at memorizing numbers that are worse at adult life than him.

I remember the post, and he did claim that. Believe someone posted screenshots from his discord channel where he claimed it, which is probably why you can't find it.

I did my own, very half-hearted, digging and couldn't find any information about a firebombing in Florida any time recently.

I imagine Gayzo is just kicking the can down the road in the hopes that people will forget about it once the season is over. It doesn't really make sense that he'd have to wait for the show to end to talk about alleged ongoing legal proceedings.

Once the season is over and people start asking for info, he'll probably just hand wave it away by saying he can't talk about ongoing legal matters.

Entire stream archived in glorious 480p but high qual audio. KiwiFarms mentioned award (00:44:54) - he read the thread after his removal, admitted the pixelboy thing was him and said the thread was the "craziest out of all the fishtank places". Everything past 1:08:00 was just niggerbabble about the previous season so I trimmed it.

I have not sat through the stream, I only listened to the bit about KF. Hopefully someone could run it through Auto Speech Recognition and then AI summarize it to make some bulletpoints, as listening to an hour of discord mod ramblings is not a healthy way to spend your day.

Jet and the wiggers don't understand their own show. Very sad.

They desperately need to grasp the fundamental truth that there is a vast gulf between the game theory of the cast when it comes to eliminations and the desires of the tank's audience. He is applying the doctrine and operations of a standard reality TV show to an idea which is much different in its execution and viewer consumption. It's comparing apples to oranges. People debate whether Bam is a good host or not, whether the cast is good, whether the show is rigged, whether the challenges are good, whether we should be coddletank or hellhouse, etc. etc., but absolutely none of that is what makes Fishtank what it is at its core: a 24/7 livestreamed house where the show never ends (until it does), the audience demands drama and the goal is to maximize their amusement at all times at any cost to the contestants. Because of its nature, it is not really a "show", but an experience you control to some extent, one where you can jump in any time and leave whenever you want.

Standard reality TV shows are sold to networks and are released as highly edited and curated episodes of short time periods, an hour long at most. Because they only need an hour's worth of footage every day (or so), they're able to cut the 95% boring nontent that no doubt happens on their reality show sets and tailor their episodes around the 5% content that happens during challenges. And because of that, they can rely on the nature of a competitive game with an intriguing format to be the only thing required to generate the content. They only need to be good enough for a total of one hour of runtime every week and for the challenges to be engaging enough to keep a Netflix user or wherever they're streaming nowadays entertained for the duration of the episode. Fan favorite characters can be eliminated without too much revolt because the entertainment focus is first and foremost on the game the cast plays instead of the cast themselves.

Fishtank is different. The wiggers need to keep a viewer engaged one way for another for a long period of time in a timeframe the viewer themselves control because the whole point is you can do that, whereas with standard reality shows they're bound to their episodic regime for their entertainment. If production can't generate the content themselves out of the fish for that long of a time, then they need to rely on the fish being a mix of people that interact with each other and the audience in highly amusing ways rather than devolving into nontent. If the fish who are best at that are gone, the audience goes with.

For the fish themselves, it's a different story. They may be fans of the show and they may know what the audience expects from them, but they joined this show with the motivation of winning a fair amount of money first and foremost (usually), and they naturally will orient their behaviors to achieve that goal. If it's up to the fish themselves to eliminate each other and the audience doesn't have much of a say in the matter, then they're not gonna eliminate the fish who are nontent but rather the fish who are "most dangerous" to their chances of winning whether they're the fan favorites or not. They have no obligation to entertain you if it's not important to them winning. That's just how it goes.

The episodes they release for the seasons don't really do the show justice because the wiggers are trying to make Fishtank something it is inherently not. It's putting a slightly smaller round peg into a square hole: it might fit, but if it does at all, it's gonna leave out the little things that turns the premise from trash TV into Neptunian kino. It's really, really tragic to see the wiggers continually fuck this show up, because while it might be part of the Fishtank charm at this point, it holds us back from something that can be quite innovative, more entertaining than anything on TV and sometimes, genuinely magic.
