If you're wondering how CNN has been staying afloat, this would explain a huge chunk of their viewership. They use traffic coming and going through airports, which have an altered and (more heavily) edited program displayed on their televisions. This causes a gigantic inflation in their numbers, which poorly reflect actual viewership. Supposedly there is now a petition to end this.

it isn't even new, it's actually been around since before the incident and has upped their goal from 2k. need 420 more to get to 2.5k.
tactics like these are incredibly common but if their ratings are so shit even with this it's pathetic
People have been looking into this since 2012 to get them removed. Fudging numbers for views/sales is easier than you would think. Prince gave away albums with tickets to his live shows so they'd count as sales.

I remember last time I was travelling and I watched it for a while. Reminded me a lot of Headline News back when it had news. Seemed kinda nice.

So far as I can tell, they're being openly antagonistic to Trump, and have never pretended to like him.

I prefer both MSNBC and Fox News for at least having an open bias to CNN faking being "objective" when they clearly aren't.

I seem to remember back in those days that 4chan's /v/ banned any talk of Gamergate so a bunch of them went to 8chan and it made their autism worse.

I don't think that'll happen this time, cause this is literally all that /pol/ ever does.
