No, I'm not going to be satisfied at all if this gets thrown out and Null gets stuck with a six figure bill. I want this palsy-faced demon to be in debt until he finally gets killed by some pissed off pimp.
you know, that's fair. i was considering the long term benefit for the farms, not the personal impact on null. your point is a good one.

Don’t get your hopes up in Null getting full fees. That’s really a longshot unless Gree does even more Discovery fuckery.
I refuse to believe we live in a country where anyone can inflict one hundred thousand dollars of damages on a bullshit claim and be held liable for like 4600 bucks. Our society would not at all function.

@Potentially Criminal is streaming tonight, not directly covering this case but he'll be going over Sony v Cox at some point for anyone interested. Probably a good chance of going over how it might apply to this case if I had to guess unless he decides to save it for the next gree stream

Midstream edit: lolcow stream tomorrow, Fatrick and Gree, he didn't specify if it was this case or the Viacom one (or both)

Poststream edit: Sony v Cox segment starts at 2:01:45, ends at 2:11-ish, so not super in depth. Basically reiterated what's been said here but nice to hear it from a practicing lawyer/sandwich enthusiast. Summary, very good for the farms, pretty bad for the H3 Snark mods

Instead of using ChatGPT to shit out filings at 3 AM from his filthy dirty bedroom, Greer will be using ChatGPT to shit out filings at 3 AM from his car.
At least Greer hasn't found openclaw yet, having the AI actually register accounts wouldn't be out of the question.

I will absolutely shit myself with glee if some actual momentous decision is instigated by greer being a retard in ways nobody thought possible.

if cox really ends this whole nightmare i'll fucking flip. in a good way.

Greer has spent his whole life chasing after pussy.

In the end, he was destroyed by Cox.

I do not understand why this decision matters at all, considering the track record of Barlow and Bennett.

Until trial everything Greer says is taken as true, with no scrutiny whatsoever, so the judges can just liberally construe Greers statements to mean that Null actually advertises Kiwifarms as a piracy page and Cox is completely irrelevant until trial

Even the dumbest judges generally can realize that just ignoring a unanimous SCOTUS decision from a couple days ago makes them look like retards.

But then I've underestimated the sheer colossal level of dumbness of these two faggots in robes before, so 🤷

I don't think he can currently afford GREEEEEEpt.

His most recent filings seem to lack em dashes and to be legit GREEEEEing.

This is a case where a lawyer was caught using AI and was punished for it. The lawyer has a number of similarities with Greer. He's always doing something else when he should be paying attention (taking calls, working on his computer on unrelated stuff). He's also a blatant and inept liar. He practises in multiple jurisdictions and is currently suspended in at least three.
I don't know if there's anything in there that would help Hardin but it's nice to see a judge actually, you know, doing something.
I'm a long time fan of Judge Hayward. She once used the quaint Georgia sanction of banishment on a persistent offender to bar him from a parish for a year. He was not allowed to enter the parish at all, even if it was as part of a journey elsewhere and he stayed in his vehicle. He had to drive right around the area or risk arrest. She said his victims and local LE deserved a break from him.

Send him into the shadow realm, your honors.

If Russ can't inconvenience his enemies in court, he might just cease to exist.
Litigo, ergo sum.

It's not quite "Santa Cuck" but the possibility of the true identity of "Spaz Face" being discussed in front of a judge and jury is certainly something.

To quote the legal mastermind Lionel Hutz: "I move for a bad court thingy."
